This freebie was fun

I just watched two movies I had to rent and was disappointed with, but this movie was free and delivered!
I am glad I watched this and would totally watch this again. It was well-woven and kept me intrigued the whole time. Cam Gigandet is a good actor and easy to watch anyway, but the plot was enthralling.

Hilariously bad!

I don't often review movies on Amazon, but this was so stunningly bad I had to leave one.
Had high hopes for it considering 3 of my favorite male actors starred in it but it didn't take long for me to see that even they couldn't save this action farce from the horrific writing. It was like, the writing (and really everything) was SO bad the actors just didn't care to put any effort into their acting either. Had I not been so bored (and amused by how bad it was) I wouldn't have watched the entire flop, but since I didn't have anything better to do and I needed a good laugh, I watched it all. An hour later I'm still laughing at it. Wow, what a stinker!! LOL

Give it a shot when you have the time to mellow.

Not many of the reviewers here liked this movie and trust me when I say that I get it. Rather a dull start and dreary characterizations but, and here is another down type of thing, I had it figured out very quickly. I had originally gotten this movie for Cam Gigandet, I am a huge fan of his and wish that he would get that really big break. I don't want to get into the story of the movie because to give things away would have an effect on this story. So I will say that even if you read the blurb accompanying the description on the DVD page you will not be told anything. So again, very slow start, to me, predictable story, Jonathan Rhys Meyers ( love him too) looks emaciated. Michael Biehn, looks tired and Brit Shaw as Cam's wife is just shrewish, screaming all the time.

Love It!!
Verified purchase assassin knowledge about every way possible to kill a target. The only thing is he blows himself up after every kills thereby hiding all evidence. Still, he reappears. It takes a while before you figure out how he does this. Great fight scenes for lovers of martial arts and high powered weapons.

Sloppy movie!

The shrink says the pills were replaced with ibuprofen when the bottle was clearly marked aspirin. When the red pick up truck lands at the bottom of the cliff on its back, the entire roof is clearly crushed to the ground, but when the antagonist crawls out, all the windows are still intact. Could have been interesting, but nobody cared enough to pay attention, so why should we?

Started out kind of cool, thought it was Total Recal-ish

Made it 38 minutes, couldn't do it anymore. Started out kind of cool, thought it was Total Recal-ish, but good lord, it got so bad I wanted to punch the screen as hard as Mr. Crazypants kept punching walls. It's obviously a conspiracy Manchurian Candidate type plot but so dreadfully done, I can't believe Jonathan Rhys Meyers agreed to do this film. Not that he's in it much, the cover art is misleading.

For 99 cents to rent as a Prime Day special I give it 2 stars. I could get through it but I don't recommend spending more renting this movie. Jonathan Rhys Meyers has really fallen far since his outstanding role in Tudors, not only in roles but talent. It really is sad. Not all the acting was awful but the movie just wasn't very good at all IMO.

It's entertaining

Decent enough movie. The acting is pretty good and the story is pretty good. There are holes and flaws, but overall I was entertained.
