5.0 out of 5 starsFascinating!
So this is about 20 years old, meaning an elderly Shakers in the interviews are long gone. But then again so is this fascinating culture. I think the documentary went into great depth. I learned a great deal about a group I thought I already understood. If you like Americana, alternative beliefs and unique perspectives, all wrapped up in a peaceful prosperous culture - the Shakers are for you! Very sorry they did not last!!

This was a lovely view of the Shaker community, mixed with song and imagery.
