So much fun!
While it's not a show full of heart stopping moments it is a program full of heartwarming fun and good detecting. It reminded me of some favorites like Agatha Raisin, Pie in the Sky, Rosemary and Thyme, and Murder in Suburbia (only with less gore) I wasn't feeling at the top of my game, I thought perhaps I'd try something new to lift my spirits. If you're looking for blood and guts look elsewhere but if you are looking for a lovely show you can binge watch with a bowl of popcorn, I'd say this is it.

Wonderful! Can't wait for more!
what a great find this show was for me! Love the bit of humor, and characters that are a bit of fun. Plus, all the references to the Bard's works! Have to give them kudos for being daring with Macbeth quotes, when so many actors are superstitious about mentioning the Scottish play unless performing it.

While I do watch many of the crime scene shows on, I love the older shows like Murder She Wrote, Diagnosis Murder, etc. I truly prefer detective shows with minimal blood, not every one about murder. So few today foot the bill. Ok, no US shows, lol. There's Midsomer Murders, Agatha Raisin, Father Brown. Aways prefer a good British Mystery show, lol. Was thrilled to spot this show, even more to realize it is current, and what's more, a 2nd season has been planned. I very much look forward to series 2, and hopefully many more!

Lighthearted and fun
A hairdresser and former police Chief Inspector make an unlikely but delightful P.I. team. Nothing too serious, lots of fun, sort of a Murder She Wrote or Rosemary and Thyme. Nothing too heavy or gory. Set in Shakespeare's charming hometown of Stratford-Upon-Avon. It's a lovely laugh at the end of a long day!

Clean, good TV!!
LOVE THIS SHOW!!!
Mark Benton is adorable (think Colombo meets Cannon).

Jo Joyner is that perfect piece that brings Shakespeare & Hathaway together. She is adorable, but not cutesy and there is more to her character than meets the eye.

Sebastian McBride is JEWEL!!! Love his character the most b/c I am always waiting to see what he will wear, but especially what witty comment he will say.

Great writing, love whomever dresses Sebastian, the subtle nods to The Bard of Avon, but especially that the 'do ins' are not gratuitously violent nor bloody.

Cannot wait for season 2!

Entertaining, interesting, lighthearted
The characters are fun and respectfully depicted. However, they are not stuffy or pretentious. Well written and entertaining.

Fun, intelligent, and just enough quirkiness
Where to begin? The characters - I love them. They are unique, fun; they are characters not boiler plate roles that appear in so many shows today. The cases they take on are interesting - the clues that lead them to the end result are clearly thought up by someone with an intelligence missing in many mystery shows these day. The show is entertaining, the characters are likable, and there is enough intelligence that the show does not fall into the "stupid trap" - meaning I laugh and go "WOW!" when watching this instead of groaning over a a stupid plot as I do in so many other shows these days. Please - keep this one going - and Amazon - get Series 2 as soon as possible!

Great for a lighter evening
I love the intense, dark, complex mysteries like Lewis, Vera, Broadchurch, etc., but sometimes my brain is just tired and needing something light and fun, and this fits the bill! I liked the three main characters a lot, and loved the humor. I was glad to hear there is a second season goinig on in the UK right now.
