Sometimes running away takes you right where you’re meant to be…
After being dumped by her fiancé in the wake of a terrible accident, Lily Brownfield needs a change. So she decides to leave LA behind to move to Oklahoma and cook for the cowboys of the Longren Ranch. It seems like perfect place to hide. A place to nurse her sorrows in private.
Then she meets Case Longren, a giant of a man in a black Stetson standing tall beneath the hot prairie sun. Case sees not only the outward scar the accident had left but the deep inner scars she tries to hide—and this makes Lily want to avoid him at all costs.
At first Case doesn’t understand why such a beautiful woman would leave the city to cook for two dozen dusty ranch hands in the middle of nowhere. To get to the bottom of this mystery, he’ll have to unearth the secrets behind Lily’s scars. But the more he learns, the more he wants to help her in whatever ways he can—even if that means losing her back to the big city.

Although China survives, she loses the baby who meant more to her than her own life. Distraught and alone, she finds herself turning to an unlikely source of comfort.
Hard-bitten Det. Ben English is on the case, and he thinks the victim—a celebrity photographer—was killed for the scandals his camera could expose. But as they grow closer to each other, they also grow closer to the killer.

THE THINGS WE DO FOR LOVE…
Sara Beaudry knew the note from her brother, Roger, was a matter of life and death. Without a moment’s hesitation she walked out on her career, traded her car for a motorcycle and rode off into the Texas sunset. Roger’s message had been clear: If she wanted to stay alive, she had to find his former partner, Mackenzie Hawk, who was living somewhere in Oklahoma’s Kiamichi Mountains, and she had to find him fast.
The roar of a motorcycle engine was an alien sound in the Kiamichi night. Hawk watched in disbelief as the Harley-Davidson spun into his yard and its frozen driver collapsed in his arms. What was a woman—a gorgeous woman at that—doing on his mountain in the middle of the night?
She claimed she needed his help and that his old partner had sent her, but as far as Hawk was concerned, those days were gone. He’d left undercover work for good, and nothing was going to make him go back to it, not even a tall, leggy redhead who made his blood run hotter than it had in years.
Ruby Butterman and her husband, Peanut, cannot have children, but they're given a second chance at a family when eight-year-old orphan Carlie is left in their care. It's a challenge for Carlie to adapt to a new town, a new school, and a new family, and when she gets bullied at school, Ruby and Peanut discover how to step up as parents, and how to make a forever family for their beloved little girl.
