It's not often that a book can get me to cry. The only other books I have cried while reading this year were The Blood and Ash Series by Jennifer L. Armentrout and The Addicted to Sin series by Emily Stormbrook.This book gave me such "F The System" vibes and I am here for it! 🙌I think I first cried around 10% of the way through. Finally reunited with her boys and she is now viewed as the enemy. After all she had went through and all the dark deeds she had to commit to get to her reunion with them. This was the first section to tear me apart. Having such high action with a steady stream of confident inner dialog to be followed by much milder action with only confusion being the inner dialog,was striking and heart breaking. My heart continued breaking through most of this read and I cried during 2 other scenes in Shattered Vow. This whole book completely shattered me. It was so hard to put down so I could get some sleep. I am still reeling from the read honestly. It was such an excellent story with fantastic character building and engaging plot.There is so much I want to say about this book but I am adamant on not spoiling books for other readers so I will not gush more. I just know I will overdo it and end up spoiling if I do.My Spice rating is never based on how good the writing was or the scene(s). My spice rating is based off 2 things: Amount of occurrence and how dirty/unconventional it is. There is 1 scene, very conventional and wasn't very lengthy. It was written amazingly along with the rest of the book.
