Scary sequel
"Breeding Ground is the sequel to Slugs and is just as scary as the original. The killer slugs are back and this time, touching their slime gives you a horrible disease which end sin you going mad and killing people.
Very gory and creepy and this is one of the only books that has genuinely scared me in places. One of Huston's best books. Highly recommended."
Shaun Hutson is the godfather of gore and Breeding Ground delivers. Hours of slug fuelled entertainment for less price than a coffee or the Sunday papers!
Harold Pierce didn't mean to kill his baby brother all those years ago. He didn't intend to incinerate him in a fire but he did and he has spent most of his adult life in a psychiatric hospital because of that. Upon release he is given a job as a hospital porter but that job involves the burning of aborted foetuses and the memories of what happened to his brother begin to torment Harold.
In the small town where he lives the terror is mounting because of the escape from prison of psychopath Paul Harvey. Within days of his escape a horrifying series of murders begins but there is much worse to come. Pierce and Harvey, both disturbed and guarding terrible secrets, are about to unleash a terror beyond belief...
The opening of the chamber triggers a series of horrific murders, each victim mutilated and their entrails used to form a different letter of the alphabet. Who is behind this outrage? And how is it linked to a subterranean chamber thousands of years old?
Inspector Stephen Wallace must unmask this crazed killer. Is it the sadistic thug responsible for organising a series of barbaric dog fights? The mysterious recluse who holds Black Mass orgies for drug addicted teenagers? Or is it, in fact, something much worse? An evil so old, so vile and so powerful that it threatens to engulf everyone who comes near it.
For Wallace, and possibly for the whole human race, time is running out fast.
Something evil is waiting. Something monstrous is loose...

Two tribes go to war and Sean Doyle is standing in the middle
White Ghost - A Shaun Hutson classic
Sean Doyle is no stranger to violence. As a member of the Counter Terrorist Unit he's seen more than his fair share of it.
And it seems his intimate acquaintance with death and brutality is set to continue, as he investigates the hijack of an army weapons convoy in Northern Ireland. Managing to infiltrate the organisation, he soon makes some disturbing discoveries: the body of an IRA informer stuffed with heroin, and an IRA safe house full of Chinese Triads.
With a wave of violence sweeping across Britain, Doyle soon realises the stakes have been raised to an alarming degree. The evidence points to an unholy war between two Triad groups with the IRA behind one of them. Motive? Only Doyle can find out, and he must do so before the carnage spirals out of control...

The Return of Doyle
Format: Paperback
"Hutson does a detour from horror in this novel as he tells a tale more in keeping with high octane thriller. Once more Doyle is thrown into a clash with the IRA. Throw in the Triads and a load of stolen weapons, light the blue touch paper and stand back. High speed plot and tons of violent clashes between the triads culminating in a Chinatown showdown makes this another great Hutson Novel. Buy it now!!"

Can you imagine what it would be like not to have any memory of your first ten years of life?
Jake Howard knows how that feels. He's a successful psychiatrist and writer. He has an apparently adoring lover and the respect of his peers. But he also has a huge gap where his childhood memories should be. What's more, Jake is tormented by the worst kind of nightmares. Nightmares he's not even sure are his.
Tormented by dreams and visions that threaten his sanity, he must find their source in order to understand and banish them.
His hunt will take him to a run-down seaside town, to the place where he was raised and also forty years back in time, to what he must confront to release himself from the grip of the visions and also to discover the hidden memories.
However, he will discover things about himself he did not dare imagine. Things he really didn't want to know.
And he will also discover that not everyone is what they appear to be. Those revelations will expose a darkness and horror that no one should have to confront.
Sometimes a lie is preferable.
Some truth is best left undiscovered...
