I will be purchasing a class set of this particular book to do a book study with my homeroom kids whom I get to mentor all the way to Senior year year. At a time when teenagers are struggling with suicide, and identity, I believe this book is a solution to many of their unvoiced struggles.
I will also be purchasing this book for each of my girls. This book is the advice, and truths I’d wished I had at the age of 18 when I had no clue life wasn’t supposed to be about pretending your way through a used blueprint of every other 18 year old from every other family. This book breathed life into me at the age of 39.
I’m excited to breathe life into kids brought into my path, and this book is going to allow me to impact my kids greatly.
Read it. Then, pass it on. This book is written for those of us who really connect with the game we all love, but the truths inside it are universal.
I’ve yet to uncover a book that captures the struggle of today’s culture and provides solutions to issues we didn’t even realize are issues. Highly recommend.
