The BEST SERIES EVER!!!
Verified purchase
If you are feeling blue, missing family and friends or wishing you could just go for a walk without having to suit up like someone going into a melt down at a nuclear power plant - buy any one of the Signed Sealed and Delivered movies or the series. You will smile, you will laugh, you will cry and you will feel WONDERFUL at the end. The characters are people you want in your own life. They are kind, funny, honest and a joy watch. The story lines are multi-leveled and you never see the end coming. Thank you to series developer and the actors for making 2020 - SO MUCH BRIGHTER!!! After watching just one movie - I bought them all.

"Dead Letter Office" DELIVERS Outstanding Story
Verified purchase
It is great to be able to watch a series like this, and watch the characters develop. There are 4 main characters in the series, and they all have different (and quirky) personalities. Somehow they fit together perfectly. Great chemistry amongst the cast.

Each storyline in this series is well done. It is refreshing in this day and age to be able to sit back and relax and watch a story develop. Lives are affected in a positive way, there is resolution for the people affected by the "Postables" -- this "Special Branch of the US Postal Service". Enjoy watching a family friendly series with no worries of violence, blood, bad language. Just ENJOY the compassion this team feels for other people.

"Signed, Sealed, Delivered" Receives My Stamp of Approval! *EDITED Oct. '14*
Verified purchase
**EDIT: Unfortunately, this show has NOT been renewed as a tv series. It WILL however continue in movie form. The first movie will return on November 23, 2014 (and possibly a second in April '15); it's supposed to be on "Hallmark Movies & Mysteries" channel. Also, keep checking retailers (Amazon, Walmart, etc.) for dvd's, as I have read of a possible release right around the time the movie date-- for those of us that don't have this channel/package. I personally find a lot of Hallmark related programs for rent through my local library, so I recommend that if you can't buy the dvd.**
_________

This is the third original TV series from the "Hallmark" channel to date. I have enjoyed their 2 previous (especially "When Calls the Heart"), so I was willing to give this one a chance.
I strongly recommend watching the movie before diving into the series. I actually didn't beforehand, and felt a little lost at first. I eventually did, and found the movie to be really enjoyable!

My main reason for giving this series 4 stars is because it's family friendly, and has good values.
I like the fact that each episode has a completely new story to enjoy, and mystery to solve. It's a light hearted sort of detective show, not bogged down by crime, and death. Also, there's a new guest star every 2 episodes; such as Carol Burnett, Valerie Harper, Valerie Bertinelli, etc.-- which make things interesting!

However, I do feel there's room to grow and improve in this series, so I'll give it 4 stars for now. The decision to pair the characters up isn't completely believable-- at least where the 2 supporting actors are concerned.
With that said, I do hope the show is renewed so we can see its potential.

I absolutely loved the whole series - the pilot

I absolutely loved the whole series - the pilot, then these episodes. I'm REALLY hoping that more will follow.... I cried like a baby for nearly every episode. It's hard to find anything on tv that purposely incorporates virtuous ideals of behavior, i.e. hard work, loving others, putting others first, etc.. The idea that these folks exist in a back room at the post office, the DLO - "Dead Letter Office," was such a fun one. They sort of exists in their own universe of problem solving. A VERY fun idea from which to create episodes for the show. SOOOOO fun, and so good for the heart. :)

What a great show and the characters are so funny and yet the unspoken love between them is so romantic.

The show is based on four people working at the post office to investigate and deliver mail that is either lost or could not be delivered due to various reasons. While investigating each lost mail in every episode the story develops the history of the mail and the connection between the sender and the recipient until the mail is delivered.

Although the stories in each episode is a normal heartwarming hallmark plot, but the love that develops between Shane McInerney and Oliver O'Toole and why they can't be together keeps every episode more interesting.

I don't know why hallmark channel stopped recording this show, but I'm hoping they will pick it back up. I would love to see more.

Cute, typical hallmark style entertainment, appropriate for all, I've since watched all of the movies too, they ran them on hallmark marathon style one day, there are a lot to watch if you like this series, about 8 or 10 movies too, same cast, same story line.

Signed, Sealed, Delivered has my stamp of approval!

This is a delightful series! Wonderful writing and acting. Quirky characters and yet somehow you're drawn in and cheer them all on. I recently read that Hallmark was not going to continue this as a series but rather as two hour movies that will air at Christmas and then 4 times in 2015..... I'm glad it's continuing but so wish they would keep it as a series. There are so few shows that are fun and uplifting rolled into one. We could sure use a dose of heartwarming stories on a weekly basis. I especially enjoyed the guest appearances of some seasoned actors that added even more fun to the show. The series itself is about the dead letters at the Post Office and this "team" that figure out who the sender and/or recipient are and delivers them....with some added intrigue. Kinda like the CSI division of the Post Office! I bought the series and so wish there were a 100 more episodes to watch!! If you like clean, uplifting, moral story lines with humor....this is a sure winner! Kick back and enjoy!

I love anything that Martha Williamson produces
Verified purchase
I love anything that Martha Williamson produces. This is one of the most refreshing shows I've seen in a long time. I can't believe Hallmark Channel took this great show off for the Good Witch, which I do not watch. I don't get the movies and mysteries channel but I'll have to figure out how to see the new movies. I'm not sure what's up with hallmark channel. There seems to be nothing but constant reruns all day and night with the good stuff only on the weekends and Christmas (including Christmas in july). I'd like to see the sad movies on instant streaming.
