What happens after happily ever after?
It’s the event of the year. The wedding of Leo and Wolf to their beautiful sub, Shelley McNamara, has all of Bliss up in arms—and makes everyone think about love and marriage and family.
Wolf and Leo have to deal with the sudden reappearance of their father. Rafe Kincaid is handed an opportunity that might take him and his family away from Bliss. Aidan, Lexi, and Lucas O’Malley find themselves at a crossroads in their marriage. And Stefan Talbot must face his biggest fear—possibly losing his wife in childbirth.
So come to the Feed Store Church, pick a seat, and enjoy the chaos as all your favorite characters from Texas Sirens and Nights in Bliss, Colorado, come together for one eventful weekend.
And some of them may never be the same again.
Note: This is a reunion book, which shares an overall story arc and many crossover characters with the Texas Sirens and Nights in Bliss series. This is not a stand-alone.

Leo, Shelley, and Wolf are getting married, but nothing is ever perfect, and there are some road blocks along the way. Just take the Beet. The changes in Leo are so good to see. Mel is the show stealing character in this one!
Jack, Sam, and Abby will always be my favorite throuple. I love the easiness of their relationship, and the connection between Jack and Sam never disappoints. Little Olivia is HILARIOUS!!!! I cannot wait for that one to grow up.
Stefan and Jennifer were put through it this one again. Sometimes I really want to smack the crap out of Stef, but Max, Rye, and Caleb handled it in a spectacular fashion. The name they gave to the baby melted my heart.
Cam, Laura, and Rafe are still struggling to find their footing. Rafe is another one that needs the occasional smacking but he pulled it together this time. It was so sweet to see him be such a loving father to their baby.
Aidan, Lucas, Lexi had the biggest struggle of all. Lexi has always been a brat of the highest order, and nothing like motherhood and career will change that. I was so glad that Aidan and Lucas were able to comfort each other while Lexi had her head up her behind. Lexi grew as a person, wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend in this book; it was a beautiful thing to see. If you can get through her speech with dry eyes there is something wrong with you tear ducts.
All of the other characters were just icing on the cake. If you are a fan of either of these series' I highly recommend you read this.
I cannot wait to see what’s next for Henry and Nell, how will she react to his past and what the future will bring. I’m very selective on what books I spend my money on, but I will buy a Lexi Blake book any time she publishes.
Mayor Hiram Jones 97, died in the arms of his part time caregiver, Bambi... Oh who are we kidding! Bambi was his favorite hooker. They put his corpse in a freezer and called a meeting. Bliss needs a new mayor before Nell filibusters her way into power. Everyone loves her but... Tofu can only go so far. Rafe is named mayor by fiat. He's stunned. Here we are after the Happily Ever After and a bit of bloom is off the rose. Lexi is driven to excel as an author, her men are shunted aside. We gotta learn the secret that is tormenting her... Too much philosophical talk.

That crown passed to Lexi some time ago.
I purchased my first M & M book, 'The Dom Who Loved Me', in 2012 and I haven't looked back. Each and every one has hooked me from beginning to end. And she's an automatic purchase for me. To keep me interested in a group of characters for over 7 years is a feat, indeed.
I love the way her characters are all, somehow intermingled. Just when I think it might be a standalone, someone from McKay/Taggart is mentioned. Even in the last instalment of the Perfect Gentelmen series - which is about a threat to the presidency, one of the characters mentions hiding out in Bliss and meeting Mel. Now, if that book was read as a standalone, it would still have been an excellent read, but it makes it all the more enjoyable when the reader knows who 'Mel' is, having read the Bliss series.
Anyway, a nice segue into this current offering. What's 'nice' about this is that there are no bad guys trying to kill anyone, or blow anything up! Yay 😄! Although there is a 'nasty piece of work' that is dispatched with the minimum of fuss. And no bloodshed! So, it's just a good old pre-wedding and wedding celebration of Wolf, Shelley and Leo. But, the focus is also on Stef & Jen, Aidan, Lexi & Lucas, and Rafe - as well as the other 'throuples' (yes, it's a word) we've previously read about. Unlike some authors, Lexi (Blake) manages to make all the separate stories flow nicely into and out of each other. There is a death, but it is, shall I say, as natural a death as could occur in Bliss... 👀. And the scene following the discovery of said death had me laughing until I cried! Actually, there were several scenes that had my ribs aching.
Oh! There is a hint of a shadow of 'something' going on with Henry, which is testing his and Nell's relationship. Doesn't look good but, I suppose it'll all come out in a later instalment. Probably involving a lot of bloodshed, which Nell won't approve of. Oh, dear...
Anyway, I could go on all day with this, so I'll stop. I've already got 'Sirens Reborn' on pre-order, which is out on next week. Can't wait.
I loved how the story had a focus on particular characters whilst still giving us the other, colourful characters.
Thank you for the treat at the end!
