I saw the second one first and it was light weight but cute. This is quite possibly the worst written, acted, directed show ever. Wizard of Oz is more believable. The dialogue is canned and cliche'd. The story is so full of holes. First, the bad guy is apparent from first glance. Secondly, (Spoiler alert!) There is a site of a murder, then theft, then vandalism, but when they find a priceless artifact, no one bothers to secure it and, wham! It gets stolen. Duh. Third, the step mom is in a suspicious fire and interviewed by several people but no one bothers to ask her about how it started. Fourth.....Fifth..... Sixth......Totally ridiculous.

It has a good story, nice setting, and good production. The problem is the acting just doesn't carry the story. They describe the main character as 'determined' and 'dedicated' but she just comes across whinny. Worse, she spends the movie whining to the males to get them to do things for her. And when the killer is revealed, the surprise isn't due to good mystery writing but because nobody believes the actor playing the killer is strong enough to be a threat to anybody. The love interests are unsure and forgettable. With a better cast this could have been a good one.

Great movie. It’s clean with mystery and a little romance. The characters are realistic (except the FBI agent when he says “he’s FBI”. No agents in real life do that - hokie) all in all, fun series.

When I first watched the film, my attention kept wandering to other tasks. I found the picture a bit bland, the story plodding, and the performances lacking depth. However, it does get better with repeated views. I suppose I got used to it!

Cute and lightweight movie. Lead character is pretty much forgettable, but others are better actors and carry the show well. It's a nice, clean, non - traumatic late evening wind down sort of movie.

Great to watch with any family members

This movie kept me guessing and I wish they keep making them, it's interesting.

My granddaughter and I have watched this and didn't not figure it out. We like mysteries.
