Slapstick, romance and a rag-to-riches story. Allen and Ullman shine as a n'er-do-well couple figuring out how to pull of the big heist, bickering all the while. Great supporting cast with Elaine May just about stealing the show as ditsy, lovable cousin May. Nice break from Allen's current crop of celebrity du jour laden offerings.

First of all, I am a huge Woody Allen fan. This film is a "sleeper." In my opinion, it is certainly not as well known as other Woody Allen movies, however it is an outstanding example of his genius. It is imaginative, extremely well-casted, and a real attention-getter. It has "twists and turns" and is full of surprises. The best part is, it is just plain fun to watch!

Funny, entertaining, well done. Tracy Ullman is great as Allen's wife, trying to learn to be cultured from the ever charming Hugh Grant. Improbable, but fun!

Generally im not a Woody Allen fan, but this movie was great fun. Insanely halarious one liners spoken by fantastically played characters. Many big name actors doing what they do best. This is an instant classic and is a must for everyone's collection. I purchased two more copies and sent them to friends.

One of his best. A good time from start to finish with an A-1 cast shooting off hilarious one-liners. Definitely give a look-see if you're a fan of Woody Allen.
