All parents should take time to have conversations with their kids about using the Internet and staying safe in the digital age. It's just as important as the old sex talk these days. But kids are reluctant to hear admonitions from parents. This book opens the door to those conversations and serves as a back up or reinforcement to parents concerns. Frankly, I bet a lot of parents don't even realize how important it is to talk to kids about their media consumption, passwords, and not meeting up with strangers they meet on the Internet. This book will at least help kids be better aware of risks, appropriate behavior, and will serve as a resource and reference when they encounter something that adults didn't prepare them for.
