Soldier's Angel was a short read and yet one that I had a hard time starting. Just knowing where it was going and how delayed the letter was going to take stopped me. Once I started the read, I was vaulted into the emotions. Rick and Hattie are experiencing all of the emotions from grief, loss, sadness, loneliness, then they find their chemistry and passion, the full gamut is here. This is life…grab the tissues and hang on.

As a U.S. Army beat and a veteran myself, I identified with both of the main characters. I now have happy tears in my eyes. Thank you Mina for all of your books. A quick and sweet story. Rick has come to deliver a letter to Hattie from her dead fiancé. He carries a lot of guilt about not being able to save Billy. When he meets Hattie for the first time he falls instantly for her. Hattie knows who he is and it brings up a lot of emotions for her but she is instantly attracted to him.

Hattie has to let go of Billy and Rick has to let go his guilt in order for them to have a life together.

I really enjoyed this story! It deals with the topic very well and was really engaging for me. I loved the characters from the beginning. They are both struggling with what happened and working on moving forward. I loved the little twist within this story as well. This is a short, quick read that just made me feel good. The sex is fairly explicit and blends well with the story. I absolutely enjoyed it!

Rick and Hattie's story was so emotional, it may be a short read but Mina Carter has written a story which can not fail to engage your emotions. I loved the characters who were so well-drawn, they had both lost so much you could feel their loss and I so wanted them to get together as did fate I think.

Rick Weeks and Hattie Jameson were to walk a path of acceptance and love. Good characters, strong emotions where loss, sadness, loneliness and feelings of guilt were dealt with. Romance, the characters' insight and a lovely and emotional HEA that I enjoyed. Voluntarily reviewed this copy.

Because of Billy's letter two lost souls, Rick and Hattie, find solace and love in each other's arms. As a career soldier Rick had seen and dealt out death on a first hand basis. But in seeing and experiencing Hattie Rick finally saw life as essential through the eyes of love; a life worth living. For Hattie the 18 months of loneliness after Billy's death ended when she saw Rick leaning against his rental car outside her house. He was there as a promise to a dying fellow soldier to deliver Billy's last letter to his fiance Hattie; a very profound letter of words from a dying soldier's heart. A truly moving and emotional story. I was given from the author through Prolific Works for this very profound story.

Really loved this book. Story was great, a soldier delivering the last letter from comrade to his girl. It was a beautiful story even if I was in tears for most of it, so emotional but the best HEA. Mina you are the best.
