Wonderfully wicked, little story. Vikki is a teenager with attitude. Her familiar, an albino cobra, seems to be every bit her match. I hope there are more stories that involve these two.

Easy-to-read. Entertaining. Great world building. Page-turner. Scary. Twisted. Unpredictable. Whimsical. Wonderful characters.

Sometimes you don't want to work hard, or feel complicated feelings when you read, you just want to enjoy an giggle and enjoy an inner Monologue as entertaining as your own. Hilarious, quippy, sarcastic - filled with brilliant nick names, this short tale was *fun*. I am going to look into more of her writing now, as this was my first intro to her.

Bethany has done it again! In just 4k words she managed to keep me on my toes, had me laughing, and pissed that it ended so quickly. I wanted an entire novel of Vikki and David Hisselhoff! Well done to the author for always being witty with her writing! Can't wait for her next story.
