"The alien side almost never comes out."

Thus spoken by Forbes, who explains how he may be able to reverse the problem that Miranda has. Forbes and Tom collaborated in alien-human DNA experiments, and Miranda was one of the better results. But she starts to show her alien side, and Tom takes her to Mexico to catch up with Forbes to see if there is a cure. Turns out she is dying of old age, and needs a genetic transplant to reverse the process. Of course, as Forbes explains about the process, there is always one or two glitches. The last 1/3 of the movie goes, one might say, to the dark side, and gives the viewers what they expect from the Species movies. Unfortunately, the movie seems a bit tired compared to prior ones in the series, and Tom seems to be stuck in a serious case of delusions about who Miranda really is. Only Miranda really seems to understand the situation. I can see where they left the possibility of still another sequel, but it doesn’t seem necessary.

Ok but not as good as the earlier versions

Natasha Henstridge was not in this movie but they found an equally beautiful lady to play the creature.
The plot line was ok, and the mad scientist who created the creatures was really fun, but the ending left a lot to be desired. I think the formula for these movies is getting old, with the main attraction being the hot lady turns into the alien monster who ends up killing her male partner. It was in all the previous versions and continues on in this one. They need to think of something different.

Mild acting and somewhat weak story

So the whole story comes out of no where, it's very vague also not connecting to the rest of the movie, movie seems to be taken all in 2 locations at most, I understand that this could be a budget but I believe golden company could've done it better, 90% of the movie is recorded at night where the darkness can hide a lot of details and make effects look better, overall not very good movie, acting was also off, Question Tho. how does the other alien comes back to life after its skull being crushed by the cross while it died from a shotgun?? also Miranda died by 2 stabs that are not even in a vital area...

The acting in this is half rate at best and laughable at best

The acting in this is half rate at best and laughable at best. This really is basically a soft core porn movie more so than a legitimate sci-fi movie. Don't waste your money on this at all.

I'm a fan of Species 1 and 2, but this was just awful. Couldn't watch past 30 minutes. I kept waiting for it to get better and it didn't.
