The script must have been written by a five year old. From start to finish, there are continuation errors in what's happening versus what the actors are saying. This movie is one hell of a let down for the series. I could tolerate the terrible CGI, I could tolerate the bad cinematography from a relatively unknown director, but I couldn't tolerate this movie's abhorrent script. You don't need a huge budget to put ink on paper, and this fails miserably.

Amaturish all around and terrible let down of fans of the first two Species.

I had to fast forward after half an hour. It was unbearable. Failure on all counts, from script to directing, and everything else. If this were high school project it'd be passable, but Ι wonder what kind of "professionals" would put out such a garbage. If this were the first of the trilogy, it wouldn't have made any fans.

I really like the first two in this franchise (w/Marg Helgenberger)

I really like the first two in this franchise (w/Marg Helgenberger), but the rest are good lazy afternoon popcorn fare, as well.
I wouldn't recommend any of these for an Oscar, but they're far more entertaining than most of the "artsy-fartsy" crap out there.

New cast. Even lower budget. But still maintained the weirdness and horror of the series.

We lost Natasha on this one. But Robin Dunne was a lovely and charming, softer and in some ways more alluring reincarnation of the Species. It only made sense that as the guys messed with her genes she might change her appearance. All in all a worthy addition to monstrous mythos. Maybe not for everyone. But definitely a werewolf-like shape shifting demoness of the first class.

Not great. I'd give it a C-.

Honestly, it's not a great movie. I really like the first two, personally, but this one felt too much like a straight-to-Syfy-channel B-rated movie. The effects took a huge dive. It's fine as a background movie while gaming, but that's about it.

Lower species of filmdom

Classify this film as the lowest species of know film. No redeeming value. Gratuitous. Rip-off. Only need a few ganglia to understand dumb, predictable plot.
