Prime Video purchase - How to watch bonus features!

The movie is amazing, there's nothing I can't tell you that other people haven't already said.

I was disappointed to see that the "bonus features" digital purchase only had *one* ten minute feature tacked onto the end! I tried Amazon customer support, but no luck.

I browsed social media and learned that if you watch your Prime Video purchase through the Movies Anywhere app, you get access to all of the incredible extra features, including the brilliant Spider-Ham short film and the amazing 2+ hour Alternate Universe edit of the movie! This works on your computer, phone (although you can't download the bonus features for offline viewing), and FireTV. I'm surprised and disappointed that you can't access all of the bonus content through the native Amazon app and FireTV interface, so I'm posting this to make sure that other people know that you can access everything that you paid for.

Love the movie..... but where's my specials

This review is not for the movie (Spiderverse is one of the best movies ever, my whole family adores it.) This is a review of the Amazon digital 4k copy. I was very excited to watch the special features with my family. I sprung for the 4k copy thinking this will look amazing on our tv, and there is NO special features. How did I just spend more than the HD version and didn't get any special features? That really pissed me off. How can I exchange this for the version that has special features. Why would there be NO special features, what idiot made that decision? I'm pissed, would be a 1 star review, but the movie is so good.

Love this movie. Cant recommend it enough! 10/10 buy.
BUT.... i really didnt like how blurry the whole thing is. I cant tell if it was a style choice, or if the version i just bought and watched on Amazon is actually the 3D version. Did anyone else have this issue? To me, it looks like im watching a 3D movie with no glasses..

I’m a lifelong spidey fan and I don’t even care this wasn’t done in 3D. With that being said this movie was awesome! A true love letter to our friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. Definitely worth the buy and my son couldn’t stop talking about when we saw it in theaters.

I'm sure you've heard of the countless glowing reviews and my thoughts are no different. This is my favorite movie of 2018 and possibly my favorite animated film. So this is a review of the contents in this package.

In this movie box, you'll get two discs, each with dope custom artwork. One disc is for 4K Blu-Ray playback, and the other is for regular playback. You'll also get a digital code for the film on MoviesAnywhere, Sony's proprietary platform. A bit annoying that I can't redeem the digital content on Google Play or another streaming platform, but playback on my Roku TV is in 4K, so I can't complain too much. You'll also get a couple of Blu-Ray exclusives, outlined on the back of the box in my attached image.

Overall, a solid package and an even better film. For the $28 I got this through pre-ordering, it's a solid deal.

This is not nearly as good as I've been led to believe. I understand there is an evolution to the Spider-man universe, but I just expected a better show of the gravity that Spider-man carries. I wasn't drawn in with any of these characters except I felt a little bad for the broken down Peter Parker. There was no exhilaration for anything Miles Morales went through. The Spider-man I read as a kid through the 70's and 80's will always be the gold standard.

I was surprised at how much I enjoyed this movie. It is one of those movies that's over before you want it to be, leaving you hungry for a sequel - and soon! It was well written and did a decent job introducing the characters. They even made you feel sorry for the antagonist, or at least understand his motivations. I was glad to see them include Spider Ham, even though he is far less known. I hope they are all given more screen time in the sequel.

The major thing about this movie that I found distasteful or distracting from the movie was all the forced diversity. And at times, it does seem forced. In addition to that, the cast and crew cannot stop patting themselves on the back for all their diversity in the bonus section. The only one that did not want to make me roll my eyes was Shameik Moore, the voice actor for Miles Morales. He was the only one that was not congratulating himself and gushing about the diversity in this movie. He seemed genuine and, like most people that aren't racist, put little to no emphasis on race or gender. I am all for diversity and bending stereotypes and whatnot, but I actually get offended when it is forced upon me and shoved down my throat. "And I'm not the only one. Not by a long-shot."
