New King James Version is an excellent translation, but not what I’ve memorized many verses from. However, I LOVE the notes and the trusted Theologians who have added to the notes in this Bible. If you’ve been able xposed to some of the hyper faith movement and the prosperity preachers, don’t let that turn you away from this Bible. Those wackos are not in here; these are trusted, Godly men who teach truth without the false doctrine included anywhere. Words of Jesus are in red; I highly recommend this Bible. Get it!

It works for me but some of the people at my church need a bigger font, so they feel it’s not available to them. I am 100% satisfied!!

I originally purchased this bible when it first came out in 1991 and still have it. As you can see in the photo I have duck tape on it. I just purchased the new edition hardcover and then purchased another one for my wife because she liked it so much.
I have followed Pastor Jack Hayford for many many years and he is one of the best teachers of the Word of God, especially concerning the person of the Holy Spirit. There are only a handful of bibles with commentary that have correct teaching about the person of the Holy Spirit and gifts of the Holy Spirit and this is the best one.
The chain reference is outstanding. The notes and studies are fantastic.
If you buy this bible learn to use it the way it was designed for and you will get so much of the Word in you.
I still use my original one to find my personal notes and highlights since 1991, but this new edition has some added stuff my old one doesn't.

I absolutely love this Bible!!! It is by far my favorite, and I have 3! They give so much information about every verse and have extra tid bits all throughout the Bible. The format is easy to read, easy to follow, easy to find. I love it love it love it love it!!! Also, the commentary is by very well recognized, spirit filled believers. Obviously this doesn't replace asking the Holy Spirit what He is saying in His Word, but this helps Bible really helps me understand things in the Word. It has also answered some of the questions I have had.

I really like the new format of the Spirit-Filled Bible, the font isn't particularly large, but it's darker print so it is easier to read. The updates make for a much more attractive bible with the addition of color than the grey-toned, more masculine original version. It's soft and pliable in the hands and comfortable to hold. You can not have too many bibles is my motto, and this new, third edition has just the right amount of study notes and reference material to make it worthy to replace the former versions.

I have a few bibles at my house - a parallel Bible(NIV & AMP), (NKJV)a study bible, and a regular KJV bible. As I love the word in all these formats - This Bible has great key points as you read alongside the word. Sometimes with other bibles you may need to dig into a Strongs concordance to get a meaning of a word. You may still from time to time need that with this bible - but This one many times gives me the key point definitions along with some Insights from Jack Hayfords Storehouse. This also has cross references and a plethora of topic references at the end of the book. I also want to say how I love how the book is set up and organized - from how the scripture is layed out - to the key points and Kingdom Insights run alongside the reading - to the colors used to highlight these coments - to how this book looks and feels when using it.

Knowing that the Bible is full of substantial life changing Good News, I wondered at how anyone could read the Bible and write so many words without saying anything.
