Crazy plot but entertaining. At least it doesnt have that crazy A-hole Deniro. I burned all of his DVD's

I dare you to try taking your eyes off Vincent Donofrio from his first word until his phone rings. Dare ya. Double dare ya. That man can chew up a screen with his exquisitely-timed, pitch-perfect patience.

Seymour Cassel's performance was very moving, despite or perhaps because he never spoke a single word.

The story is by no means your average mobster tale, with twists and turns that both horrify and delight. This film is a quiet gem, one I'd never heard of and only ran across by happy accident; definitely worth the investment.

Stupid movie, probably the dumbest I’ve ever seen

Excellent online shopping experience. Unfortunately, didn't think so much of the movie.

I bought the film out of nostalgia since I was born and raised on Staten Island many years ago. The story was entertaining and the actors excellent but watching the ferry pull away from the terminal on it way to Manhattan gave me a glimpse of the scene I saw each day back in the 40's as i commuted to the city to work each day.

Sucky movie.

This is a cool movie. It takes a twist when the old man learns how to shoot a gun and takes out some of the high profile gangsters that have been extorting his business all of his life. Well done film, not very gory.

Actually, this movie rates 3 and a half stars. It was an interesting movie, but not what the ad lead me to expect -- I think the ad should be changed to focus on the killer character, rather than the victim.
