Well it hit all the bases, and that was the problem. The same ol' genre stuff, but done well, good editing to keep the pace, well acted, plot forwardings, and most everything were well produced. But in the slower parts of the film, my mind wandered to all the unanswered questions and the other flaws. Stopped viewing to look up the actors' careers at one point -- slow. But it delivers the scares despite being so pro forma. I give it three stars for me -- meaning "don't watch it again unless you're totally out of other choices." Should've done this one with Netflix. It never got real enough. I got scared but it felt like a cheap shot at me. Well, for $4.21, I guess it was worth it, but I can only suggest others watch it just because it's a decent piece of work.
