I thought it was a very watchable flick. At least once.

HEY PRIME. PLEASE MAKE SEEING YOUR PREVIEWS AN OPTION SETTING SO I CAN STOP THEM FOREVER!
1 stars: Couldn't watch more than 15 minutes. Unwatchable, or language not as described.
1.5 stars: Just started it, and fast forwarded to the end to get if off my, "movies we think you'll like", list permanently. I hope this cost Amazon money every time I do this!!!!!!!!!!
2 stars: Jumped my way to the end for the ending. Unwatchable, but interested in how this turd ended.
2.5 stars: I fell asleep, or closed my eyes for most of it.
3 stars: Watched it all, but not happy about it. Nothing better to do.
4 stars: I watched it, liked it well enough. Would never watch it again.
5 stars: Great moving picture show! I'll watch it again, and maybe again in a few years.

Billy Wyatt, incredibly played by Emory Cohen (so good) goes to a boys camp after getting caught stealing cars. I thought this would be the typical boy gets incarcerated type of movie but it really wasn't just that. Yes, we have the typical tough seargeant in charge of the boys, we have the strange warden who loves his antique car, we have the clicks, we have the jockeying for power by the inmates.....BUT We have fine performances and a fine story that makes you care for these boys and pull for them. I really did love this movie and although I will say it isn't for everyone, it should be. why isn't Emory Cohen a star?????

The story here is tame, unimaginative, and reflective of a low budget...

Not a bad story

It was a little slow and took many liberties when it came to law enforcement and institutional practices.

Any movie I've seen Emory Cohen has been good- at age 30 , a consistently strong performer.

El Poeta

The writing was both beautiful and powerful and Emory Cohen's performance: electric.

The scene in the laundry with "El Poeta"—best acting in an indie film scene in the last decade. I watched it repeatedly to catch all the subtle expressions and use of language. Brilliant.

Cohen is an actor to watch.

Emory Cohen rules!

I chose to watch this movie because of Emory Cohen, who is interesting in everything he does. He carries this movie; his character is so true. Love to see more of him.
