Ely is Armor? Hmm. Hes not really, but he fights pretty good for not having been trained for it.This story gets complicated with lots of different aliens involved. Some characters from previous books come back into the plot line. Ibarra is in play again, isn't being treated well by his captors. It's got a lot of strike marine fighting by the steel sworn. It's exciting and there's a little mystery as to what's going on behind the major action with ibarra.

Ely is under siege and has a method of traveling faster than light which will change the whole strategic situation for humanity. As if being besieged isn't hard enough he has to learn how to drive his armoured suit, even though he's not a natural fighter and some how deal with the memories of a previous armoured warrior uploaded in to his suit. He's also being hunted by an infiltrator who wants something in his head. Good battle sequences if a bit short. It will be interesting if Mark eventually gives up the information Shannon is looking for. Looking forward to the next entry.
