About Stephanie De La Garza
Stephanie De La Garza was born in San Antonio, Texas but spent all of her adolescent life growing up in the Washington D.C. area. At age 19, she moved back to San Antonio and finished college with a degree in computer programming. After a twenty year career in I.T., she decided to give it all up, sell everything she had and move to Central America. This is when her life truly began and started traveling the world solo. She has co-authored a book, "Two Brauds Abroad", has had numerous travel photos and essays published on CNN.com and is an avid photographer. She is now based in New Zealand.
