I have a huge Audible book collection and many books and stories on CD to make car-time or quiet-times educational. I bought this on audible since it was vastly cheaper than the CD and played it in the car via a Bluetooth speaker from my phone. The kids were riveted by it and we sat in the car several times so they could finish a story.
Kids love storytelling and The Story of the Bible is someone telling the stories of the Bible - so this isn’t going to replace reading the Bible. It’s another avenue to bring it to life.
I wish the CD set were cheaper so I could gift it for Christmas but it’s 4 times the cost of the audible edition.

Bought this Bible story ebook and audio book to share with the family, to aquatint everyone to the stories. The narration was OK, but I think he tried too hard. The background sounds were distracting and annoying. And I hadn't realized that the line was from a Catholic publisher, so the stories were Catholic based. That wasn't a big problem, but as I wasn't expecting it, it was a bit confusing to hear of stories from the additional books.

My kids love listening to this and even request it in the car. It is entertaining and informative. The narrator has a pleasant voice. Our family highly recommends it. It is well worth the price to have our kids learning the Bible on the go. We look forward to purchasing the New Testament version as well.
