At the last count there are altogether ten factions flocking towards Kylie Rhoads, attempting to snatch the most advance nano technology in the universe away before any of the others. That does not even include her own shipmates, each who seem to have his/her own hidden agenda as well.
Talk of complications schemes, backstabbing, treachery and plain malice and you are but touching on the convoluted plot crafted by Chris Pike and MD Cooper. Full of action and suspense this space opera keeps dishing up all kinds of surprises and various subplots designed to have your mind spinning out of control just trying to keep track of all that is happening. Great story. Enjoy!

I enjoyed the book. After I finish this series I will probably not purchase another one written this author as I do not like books with unfinished endings. Both books by this author had very unsatisfying endings. I will only be buying the next book because I want to see how in will tie into the Orion War series. It is a well written and interesting story, but at the end left me with an unfinished feeling I did not like.

The adventure follows Kylie Rhoads and her crew as they are thrust in to the middle of a sinister plot that spans multiple organizations. All Kylie wants is to get her crew back and be left alone but fate, and more than a few other people, have other ideas. This story is fast paced with more than a few twists that you don’t see coming.

This book is a wonder addition to the Aeon14 universe by someone I think is a master storyteller!
