As an avid reader, in my personal opinion, this book is a piece of modern trash. If I could give it a minus rating, I would do so. I could not get pass page one with the foul language and perverse perspective. I have read other authors who wrote stories about the Greek gods in the modern world and thought this would be good. I was absolutely wrong. I am dumbfounded to think that an author views such language, as a stimulus for a bestseller. It is not worth the paper it is written on and even though I got it for free, I am sorry I even did that. I am tossing it from my Kindle library. This is a scourge upon the name of romance novelists.

I loved the characters in this book! I can totally relate to Noel as the woman torn between two super-hot, but completely opposite men. I really enjoyed the greek mythology aspect to the story also. I found myself wondering while reading the book, "Is this a real thing?" I would constantly be googling the various mythological characters to figure out if the slight nuances in the book were something that I should have learned in high school. Fun, fast read! Is there a book 2?? Would make an awesome series!

This is one of those reviews you write with a grin on your face. Noel is paired by Cupid (yes, that Cupid) to work with a guy she can't stand, Grayson Adler. Grayson is hot. Smokin, unapologetically hot. No wonder the heroine can't resist him despite her great efforts. Okay. Maybe she didn't try THAT hard, but she's a girl carrying the burden of a once-broken heart. And we all know how difficult it is to get past that kind of hurt. So, Noel (our fiesty, sardonic, hilarious heroine), go ahead honey and make that effort. We all understand. She's stuck between listening to her head ("MARRY SAFE," her head yells), and her heart ("Oh, look at the way HE makes you feel").

This is for the reader who loves sizzle, snark, and snappy dialogue...served on a platter of paranormal.
