Academics are important for a good foundation, so I recommend this book to anyone wanting to learn in life. Very informative read!
I love how this book elaborates on “The Learning Pyramid” it says “the more involved you are, the better you learn. The more active and deliberate, the better.” I totally agree with this phrase because I want my son to be involved in studying, especially during this time of pandemic that I need to be his teacher most of the time.
I’m so happy I encounter and read this book! All the teaching methods, guides, and enlightenment are all gems, that I can pass on to my kids.
As you read through this book you’ll come across steps that you probably already use, or are at least aware of in your daily life. But the key is understanding how they actually work and the useful order to approach them in.
The author takes a practical approach to understanding how we currently deal with information input, processing and retention. And then how to adjust our mindset towards our learning habits. The memory techniques in chapter 4 will be especially helpful.
