Monica is Jonathan's now. She does what he tells her to...no questions asked. She's flawless. Glorious. A perfect and impeccably obedient partner. Until she's not, and it's her resistance and her defiance that may steal his heart.

Songs of Submission is the whirlwind saga of aspiring singer Monica Faulkner and hotelier and real estate magnate Jonathan Drazen. Books/novellas should be read in order:
Book 1: Beg
Book 2: Tease
Book 3: Submit
Book 3.5: Jessica & Sharon
Book 4: Control
Book 5: Burn
Book 5.5: Rachel
Book 6: Resist
Book 7: Sing
In Beg, book 1 waitress and aspiring singer Monica Faulkner meets hotelier Jonathan Drazen and they have an instant attraction, but both have demons in their pasts. Whereas Jonathan is open for no-strings-attached sex, Monica is more looking to focus on her career. So Jonathan turns to seduction...
In Tease, book 2 Jonathan and Monica have hooked up for some off-the-charts sex and have come to an agreement that since neither is available they will just enjoy each other casually....
Submit, book 3 is very much a journey for both Jonathan and Monica! Their relationship is evolving and sex is not enough, yet... they find themselves both fighting for and against taking it to another level. Circumstances and vindictive execs are not helping matters. I will say no more as their story is best experienced.
Hero: Jonathan Drazen/32 years/$$$$/hotelier - real estate magnate/auburn-red hair/green eyes/6'2"/art collector.
Seven words to describe Jonathan Drazen: Captivating, enigmatic, private, relentless, in-control, caring and memorable.
"Why do you want to know?" he asked.
"I hate secrets."
"I have secrets I may never tell you."
Heroine: Monica Faulkner/25 years/waitress - aspiring singer - band member "Spoken not stirred"/dark brown hair/dark brown eyes/5"10".
Seven words to describe Monica Faulkner: Focused, talented, loyal, interesting, endearing, witty and strong.
"I knew in every cough and sob, every hitched breath and chest spasm, that he'd hold me together. Whatever fell apart, he'd put right."
I love everything about this series; Jonathan and Monica and the progression of their relationship! Part 3 ends abruptly, but no worries as part 4 is available. But before reading I recommend part 3.5, Jessica & Sharon, a short novella that ties into their story.
Spellbinding storytelling! Compelling characters! Scorching sex scenes! I am hooked!!!
"Our relationship was too serious to forget and move on, and too casual to get upset over him f~ k ing his..."

This is smart erotica, well written & beautiful. The saga of 2 broken people that totally fit together. The aspiring/struggling singer Monica Faulkner and the HOT billionaire Jonathan Drazen. A rollercoaster & emotional read with many other interesting characters.
I warn however that their relationship/behaviours were a bit disturbing at times, a bit twisted and a bit sadistic, but the imagination of the writer is great. A totally better read than FSoG or and 1000x better than its spin-off Bared to you. But definitely pick up the bundle as it will be in its order of sequence. Enjoy!

So in this book we take off right from where we left Monica in the last episode, with her feelings hurt when Jonathan's bitch face ex eludes to the fact that Jonathan's had got jiggy with her only hours after he promised Monica his exclusivity, and shes feeling confused because her ex Kevin seems to be sniffing around her like a dog on heat.
I'm not going to tell you too much more about this story because I don't want to spoil it for you but what has amazed me about this series is the emotions the author has managed to get out of me. In book one (Beg) I was left a massive ball of pent up horniness and sexual frustration, in book 2 (Tease) I was an angry, massive ball of pent up horniness and sexual frustration and then in this book (Submit) I was left an emotional wreck of pent up horniness and sexual frustration. The author managed to pull out so many emotions for me; anger, hurt, denial, devastation, excitement, hope....... One minute I was crying the next I was turned the hell on?????
I had never read any books by this author before I picked up 'Beg' and now I'm left wondering....why the hell not??? How did this author only just come to my attention??? With this series I had everything on my checklist; I had the dominant and controlling, sexy alpha male. I had the feisty yet vulnerable heroine, I had the totally hot and erotic sex scenes, I had the 'sit on the edge of my seat' angst and drama!
If you haven't read anything by this author yet, I urge you to do so. The writing style is fantastic, the story just flows and although on a basic level it is a story about a wealthy businessman with a need to control and dominate, and a vulnerable yet feisty working class girl with a natural talent as a sub, it does not feel anything like the mass produced erotic rip offs that have recently flooded our book shelves. Seriously this author is able to write really beautiful and erotic as hell love scenes, between characters you can't help but feel some kind of emotional connection to, and a story line that grips you from start to finish.
