About the author

Author of sizzling hot romance with a touch of suspense. Long and Short Reviews erotic romance of the month winner for Hannah and the Dom Next Door and gold star recipient for Amy's Redemption. I live in the Midwest with my husband, love dogs and enjoy reading and working puzzles. We have traveled extensively throughout the states, Canada and just once overseas, but I now much prefer being homebody. My favorite genre to read is suspense.

On top of that in Chapter 12, there is a glaring mistake that continues over quite a few pages. It's confusing as it jerks the reader out of the story so abruptly. This isn't an Amazon digital conversion mistake. This mix up of characters is purely the writer's mistake.
Submitting to the Doctor has a huge error that takes the reader out of the story with a jerk and pretty much ruins a lot that happens after that. Evidently, if anyone proofread this book, it was badly done.
Chapter 12
When Kurt, Leslie, Mitchell, and Lillian get ready to mount their horses. Lillian watches Kurt boost Leslie, his fiance upon her horse. The next line is "You're up with me, Leslie, and Mitchell leans down grabs her hand and pulls her up in front of him. He settles his arm around her waist. Kurt turns and gives Mitchel a wicked grin - they chat about the horse. Leslie grips his forearm afraid to look down. Mitchell pulls her back against his chest.
Evidently, they left Lillian behind at the barn as there is no mention of her!
Kurt talks about the ranch and presto changeo Leslie is now Lillian on the next page....not for long. though...Kurt encourages Mitchell to show Leslie the falls and he rides off to the west pasture leaving Mitchell to seduce his fiance. All of a sudden Leslie must have decided she liked her fiance better, as she pops over to her own horse, {who materializes right there) and she gallops after Kurt. Finally, Mitchell notices that Lillian has magically appeared on board with him on Phantom. Good thing Lillian decided to show up, as Mitchell was about to seduce Kurts fiance.
After all that it was all downhill from there and I quit caring about them. Mitchell and Leslie's characters were just flat so it really didn't help when the writing ran amock. In the end this book would be a good one to skip.
UPDATE: If you read the comment below it is from the author B.J. Wane stating that this error is going to be revised and sent out to anyone that purchased the book. This is good news!
Good story and i love that she brings the past characters into the story with each book.
The strong alpha male and the woman on the run from an abusive partner isn’t new, but I like the twist BJ Wane gave it. The story is well-written and well-paced.
