I really enjoyed this book, from start to finish. I understood both Sebastian and Isabella in a way I haven't before, and found myself rooting for them and loving their blossoming love story. They were really relatable with their struggles, The different aspects of their personalities made the characters likable and real to me. Honestly, I would have loved to read on about them, getting to see how it all developed further from the point where the story ended. At the same time, this book gave me a wholesome experience, and exactly the kind of read I wished for. I hope many more people will find this little pearl of a book.

Loved learning more about Isabella and Sebastian’s background and how they grew up. Makes me want to re-read Forbidden Blossom with my new insights! A fun prequel to a great series. I felt that Isabella was portrayed as more of a villain in the series, so it’s nice to get a glimpse of how she might have grown villainous. Not revealing spoilers here, just read it. ;)
