I loved the "day-in-the-life" story line. It wasn't overly dramatic but still moved at a good pace. The characters felt real; even though the film didn't dive deep into their individual stories, you still understood the common theme that the main character had been there for all of them in their time of need. And in the end ***Spoiler Alert*** they were there for her. Well, some of them. "You can't save everybody" was what I took from the movie, but you can put in the effort to save yourself. I loved it. Kudos to Regina for doing something different.

Regina Hall plays a very sympathetic character in Support the Girls. She’s a stressed out manager at a sports bar who cares too much. She shows all her trials and tribulations she has to go through dealing with the owner, staff and customers. I think anyone could relate to her situation and what she went through.

First, I like the movie, as Netflix and Amazon really provide films we would not see on premium channels or in theaters. It is almost an indie/ low budget feel, but with known stars. Second, I can watch it over and over, I like the boobs, babes and some bulls**!, so it is a watchable movie. I understood the dilemma of working in a themed restaurant, but I was hoping the plot to rob the place would develop, and maybe understand why the people risked their jobs? 20 somethings with no drama, is a great line. I read about the cast in the x-ray, and found the film even better the second time and 3rd time I watched it; Also, knowing the casts' backgrounds gives the film personality. The film is also for great cause as well, please keep it up. Maybe a sequel could be planned to see how our characters lives progressed? I like unpredictable movies, and not routing for good and bad, so the film scored well with me.

The typical characters you would find at any given sports bar restaurant- and how they all form a dysfunctional family and bond.
The acting was decent; but other than the lead the other character.... not too much of an arc for any of them.
Felt like there could be more of a resolve. Left feeling like I could watch more.

The bad reviews are from young people with no life experience. I'm not sure how else you could be confused by any of it. Life isn't going to break everything down for you and often doesn't make sense. But this movie makes a lot of sense.

Love the story and the actresses. Shayna McHayle, or Junglepussy by her musician name, is fantastic and I loved to watch her. Regina Hall was also a vision to see.

The girls work at a hooters kind of restaurant and everything is screwed up. Regina Hall is the general manager and can't help herself from helping all the girls, even when they aren't the most deserving.

Anyone who's ever worked in a restaurant or dive bar will empathize with these characters- this movie nails all the dysfunctional dynamics of that business, and also the bonds staff can forge in the midst of all that exhausting madness. The cast was all excellent, especially Regina Hall. I can see from the reviews that this film isn't for everyone, but if you like realistic character-driven pieces and know or have an interest in the janky world that is Bar Life, you'll probably love this, too.
