Definitely recommend.

5 stars because of the quality for price. You can get similar at many other designer brands for more than double, some cases triple, even quadruple the price on here. The qualify on these definitely compete with those.

The photos don't give the true color justice so expect them better in person. The inner tight short is not super tight but it's also not loose. It's tight enough.

-Crotch are comfortable.
-Phone pocket is good. Phone moves a bit but not uncomfortably and not too much either to where it would fall. It's secure.
- Back pocket might only hold cash and cards not a wallet.
- side pockets should not be trusted with either keys or wallet if you're going to be active, the will fall out.(only downfall)
- fabric is great. Definitely Dri-fit material.
- sizing and fit is exactly as expected.

I'm completely satisfied with the price, quality, and fit on these shorts.

weak waist band

I use this for running and the initial feel, when getting the shorts on, was great. But it ended there. The shorts are made of a too heavy material, especially since it is made of two pieces. The undershorts work great and entirely reduced my chafing, but the outer-shorts, once heavy with sweat, kept falling down off me, pulling the undershoots with them. I had to keep pulling my shorts up every 5 steps to avoid exposing my butt. The elastic band around the waist is very weak and when the shorts get heavy, it's game over. I can't imagine wearing these shorts during a longer race, where I need gels in my pockets and I sweat a lot. The shots have a tie string, but whatever it is made off is also a bad product because it gets untied all of the time.

The design of the shorts are nice and they keep you cool working out. The fit is odd for me though, it could be that I am not used to the design of the shorts being attached to the liner in this way. I am 6ft with a 34" waist, 205lbs. The liner in the shorts makes me constantly wondering if the shorts are actually riding lower than they are and I get the feeling that they are slipping down (they aren't.) It may take some getting used to but I will stick to the snug liner being separate in the future and go with a looser sewn in liner in the future.

Very poor quality construction

These shorts split in the crotch seam after wearing them fewer than a half dozen times. Very poor quality construction. The fabric is nice though, and the shorts are comfortable and helped avoid chafing after long runs. The problem is the stitching at the seams.

These shorts are really well made but ridiculously small. They tell you, if you look closely, that an XXL is only for a 36 inch waist, but the casual purchase that sees only that it fits true to size will be very disappointed.

Don’t waste your money. The liner is decent, the shorts do not stretch at all, they’re super slim fitting, seem to be almost low rise type. Really awkward and uncomfortable. If you don’t plan on actually running or working out they’d be fine for someone that didn’t have much past skin on their bones.

They're ok for doing nothing, but not very good for any exercising. The liner might as well not even exist. The drawstring is entirely too short. The fit is odd. It always slips down no matter how tight I tie the drawstring.

Unfortunately, I had to return this item. I was excited about the color, but upon opening the package, there’s a distinct blush/pinkish undertone to it. Wouldn’t be bad, but I was looking for more of a khaki color. The fit was also really strange, definitely need to size up on these.
