About Susan Boles
Susan is the USA Today and Wall Street Journal Bestselling author of the Lily Gayle Lambert Mystery Series and a contributing author to the Brotherhood Protectors World.
A lifelong long love of all things mysterious led Susan to write cozy mysteries. Nancy Drew and Trixie Belden were the first to show her that girls can be crime solvers. Agatha Christie showed her that even small towns have big secrets. And Phryne Fisher showed her lady detectives can be outrageously individual. She lives in Mississippi with her rescue mini dachshund, Lucy, and her rescue cat of no particular breed, Zimba. She currently writes the Lily Gayle Lambert mystery series set in the fictional town of Mercy, Mississippi featuring a multi-generational cast of female sleuths and romantic suspense in the Brotherhood Protectors Kindle World.

Blog postSo this week was incredibly busy with my day job and writing my newest Lily Gayle Lambert mystery. I've been running in fifth gear for far too long. And, even though I felt that I didn't have time to take a couple of days off to completely disconnect from work, I had to do it. Everyone must take time to recharge their batteries or they risk burning out. This weekend I attended a football game at my old high school with two life long friends. We had a blast spending time together in person for a4 years ago Read more

And, in case y'all didn't know, my Brotherhood Protectors books take place in Mercy, Mississippi! The same town where the Lily Gayle Lambert books are set. So you'4 years ago Read more

Blog postI'm so very sad today. I'm seeing reviews come in for my first book in Elle James' Brotherhood Protectors World - Persuading Piper - and there are some very low scores. And it's my own fault. The manuscript I submitted to Twisted Pages was, unfortunately, the unedited version of the book. And because it was up for pre-order it was locked in. I discovered the error the night before the book was to go live but the edited manuscript could not be uploaded until after the unedited one had gone live4 years ago Read more

Blog postI began this journey as an author back in 2005. Long before indie authors were a thing. And I was able to get two books picked up by small publishing houses and I was over the moon! You read that correctly I LET life get in the way. I could've continued to write, but I didn't. Even though becoming an author had b4 years ago Read more
