Good movie,

I thought it was a really good movie.
It was an interesting twist they used to do a different veivsion of freaky friday. Instead of the mom and daughter switching bodies after wishing they had a different life it was to high school class mates a boy and a girl. Neither could swich back until they had learn not only something about the other person but about themselves as well. All while trying to do before they stay like that forever.
I won't spoil the end by telling what they learned or what that have to do to switch back. But it was neat that they used the cell phone in the movie.

Solid well made movie.

Thought this was actually a decent Disney movie. It has a good story, good acting and just general all around good fun. Boy and girl argue, say they would do better as each other, they get switched into each others bodies and have to deal with figuring out how to change back. It makes sense in the end. It is all pretty much innocent fun and anyone can watch it. Pretty solid of Disney to make something the whole family can watch without having to cringe at some point.

like a bath

Lost two stars because it had the ridiculous plot line that the boy in the girl's body figured out how to keep cloths on for everything, like a bath, so he wouldn't see anything of the girl's body. I'm not asking to see that. I know it is a Disney movie. It just would have been better to not even bring that up than to make up that impossible plot point. I also hated the ending, but I won't spoil that in the review.

For older kids

Good disney channel movie. Boy and Girl live each other's lives until they figure out what will make them swap back. (similar to Freaky Friday). The back stabbing of the girls, and overall storyline I think is probably best for older kids, 8+ at minimum.

My 11 & 5 yr old brothers, 9 yr old sister, and myself (18 yr old girl) enjoyed this movie A LOT ! It was hilarious and was very well written. My 11yr old brother read the book before we watched it and throughout the entire movie, he pointed out was was the same and what was different from the movie LOL

Great movie, well done

We watched this with our preteen grandson, and we all loved it. A boy and girl switch bodies through some crazy magic that goes through their cell phones, and they are able to work through their problems as the other person. It was really well done. There are some interesting insights into teenaged life while keeping the topics family-friendly.

I love this movie! Great soundtrack too!

As others have mentioned, this is a Freaky Friday type story- only.. this is much better. It's not nearly as cringy as some of this form and has the characters dealing with some real emotional issues. There is only one really miserable scene (with a mouthguard).. beyond that its a great viewing. I really wish I could find the music from it though. There are several great songs on here that I've never been able to locate.
