Sarah had finally gotten herself together enough to divorce Walter and keep her children. Now she had a job waiting tables in Wharton, the old drug store. It wasn’t a great job; but she enjoyed it and it helped keep her home up. Mainly, it helped her self esteem as Walter was as generous with his child support as he could be. Now, there was a man who had been coming into the café and staring at her. She wondered who he was as she hadn’t heard any gossip about a new person in town. He just seemed suspicious and didn’t answer direct questions.
Travis McDonald was enjoying being anonymous. No one seemed to recognize him in Serenity. Maybe his cousin Tom was right in staying here. Now Travis just had to find something to do. Travis heard about a radio station for sale and decided to buy it and have Sarah do her own show! Would she go for it?
