Mayor Amanda Strickland is trying to make it through the holiday season, trying to make the annual fundraising a huge success. All she needs is something big to bring in money for the auction and help the local animal shelter succeed in placing pets in furever homes.
Eric Slade is a popular movie star looking to take control of his life back.
A call to Amanda with a proposition just my solve both their problems.
This is a sweet clean romance about taking chances and starting over.
This is book one in a wonderful series centered in Indigo Bay. Each book can be read as a standalone but if you are like me you will want to binge read the entire series.

This is not my first Jean Gordon romance but I think I love this one the best. Indigo Bay is a perfect backdrop for her stories. This book has great characters and a winning love story. Oh, all those feels!

Christmas is in the air and so is love. In this new Christmas series featuring Indigo Bay, we are treated to happy romances with this most joyous season. An enjoyable read to set you in the mood.

The new mayor is busy with the events of the season as she hopes it all goes well. She ends up relying on movie star acquaintance to pull everything off.

He wants to reconnect with his grown son whom he has not spent much time with growing up as he wants to take a break from the paparazzi and his last co-star.

So they end up decide to have a pretend romance so they could help each other out. Soon pretend takes a turn to reality, will they be able to continue this sham?

When Eric Slade agrees to come to Indigo Bay to spend the upcoming Christmas holiday with some friends, he thinks it’s the perfect answer to his current situation. Not only is he anxious to get away for awhile, but maybe he can persuade an old friend to agree to a pretend romance to put off the unwanted attention from a certain female.

But you know things aren’t ever as simple as you expect… When plumbing problems threaten to leave Eric temporarily homeless, his friends and the Mayor come up with a great solution.

Oops! And don’t forget the Barks and Bows Gala… of course, Eric is eager to help the community, as well as all the animals waiting for foster homes.

Important guests. Big plans. An unexpected accident.

This story is so entertaining I didn’t stop reading until I reached the end. Actually, I stayed up half the night, giggling and grinning… and turning page after page. If you enjoy stories about Christmas — and surprising romance — don’t miss out on this wonderful story.

Can a fake relationship between friends turn into the real thing? He is famous and she is the major of her town. A romance but also a book about relationships in general - family and friends. When there is a misunderstanding can the perceived wrong be made right? Sweet ending.

Turns out it is not all that simple, fake feelings start to feel like real feelings, the lines between make believe and real start getting more and more blurry. Are they destined to be together or will the flames end in a fiery crash? A sweet romance with a few twists.
