Not appropriate for children, especially young girls, degrating to women!
Verified purchase
The problem is that this movie makes women to be objects of "meat" for men's eyes! The woman scientist is barely dressed and is not praised for her intellect, but because of her barely dressed body. As a woman who is trying to be a good role model for my daughters and who is trying to break this stupid stereotype of women as "meat" for men's eyes, this movie was disgusting.

NOT appropriate for children!

I rarely jump on the review movies but this warranted a review. The language is of concern, jokes are not for children and the female character is barely dressed.

Why use profanity in a child's movie! Really!
Verified purchase
Pros: Good story line. Funny parts.

Cons: Use of profanity with the "bad guy" archeologist. How do I explain to a seven year old this is not a "kids" movie. Also, so obvious that the computer programmers had a fetish with cartoon breast. Get a real girlfriend. Movie wasted on poor oversight and directing to ensure fit for children.

My Daughter LOVES this movie
Verified purchase
My 8 year old daughter saw this on the shelf at the library one day and after watching it she begged for me to find it and buy it. Such a cute show, well made and something that I even enjoy watching with her. The second one is also really cute and fun to watch. We are big fans in our house and hope more are made.

Sexual innuendos....
Verified purchase
Multiple sexual innuendos and the woman in the movie was so voluptuous and had so little clothes that it was distracting. I was embarrassed watching with my children and kept hoping my children weren’t noticing the inappropriate parts. Finally I turned the movie off. I don’t want to have to preview cartoons before my children watch them.

The kids loved the movie
Verified purchase
I have found myself liking the British speaking cartoons more and more these days. After buying this, I seen it on Netflix just before I got it. A little more than I expected to pay for used movie and a slightly older movie to boot, but my kids are happy and that's all that really matters.

Good adventure movie
Verified purchase
Didn't watch it with children so no complaints here. Story was good but the graphics were not HD throughout the movie. They could have done a better job with the graphics. Good adventure movie but not as funny as we hoped.

A great family movie
Verified purchase
We bought and watched the sequel before realizing it was a sequel, therefore we felt we needed to own the original; we were right. Both movies are wonderful family movies that have somehow slid under the radar.
