About the authors
Lori Safranek's Freaked Out series takes a creepy look at life in the circus sideshow. Freakshow: The Complete Freaked Out Series compiles all six stories. Marie, the tale of the Fat Lady in the sideshow, was the first book in the series, followed up with Mesmer, a hypnotist gone bad. Lily Dean explores the life of a snake charmer with special skills. Smudge is about a tattooed man whose tattoos have a mind of their own! Blade is a sword swallower plagued by a poltergeist and Omega is the final freak, a twisted contortionist who brings chaos to the Freak Show.
Lori spent several years as a newspaper reporter in Nebraska before deciding to try her hand at fiction writing. In addition to her Freaked Out series, she contributed to the anthologies Simple Things, Final Masquerade, Dead Harvest, Fifty Shades of Decay: Zombie Erotica, Cellar Door II; and Slaughter House: Serial Killer Edition; and had a story published in Tim Baker's novel Unfinished Business. She also has had stories published in the Sirens Call Women in Horror Annual ezine publication.
Lori lives in Omaha, Nebraska, with her husband and two dogs. She can be found on Facebook at Author Lori Safranek.
As a #1 Best Selling horror author, wannabe cryptozoologist/monster hunter, and fan of general weirdness (both real and imagined), I’ve traveled over 100,000 miles seeking out everything from haunted asylums to UFO crash sites to creatures like Bigfoot and the Mothman. In a previous life, I worked as a hack in the independent movie industry, but I think my current career is much more exciting.

My first books were offbeat travelogues, but recently my zombie apocalypse series, "Life of the Dead", has been a bestseller online and has grossed out readers all over the globe. I recently finished that series and penned a stand-alone horror novel called, “Within the Woods” which is loosely based on real events. Okay, very loosely.
I’m a Jeeper who always tries to wave, a huge fan of dogs, loves road trips, obsessed with Maine (and even have it tattooed on my arm). I enjoy a good conspiracy theory a little too much and I watch a ridiculous amount of horror movies. My ultimate goal in life is to be killed by a monster thought by most to be imaginary. Sasquatch, werewolves, chupacabras... I’m not picky. If that fails, I’d enjoy a long and prosperous career as a full time writer. Which of those two scenarios is more likely is up to the readers to decide.
Rich Restucci is a practicing chemist living in Pembroke Massachusetts. He resides with his lovely wife, three children, and a permanent hangover. He enjoys drinking beer, stocking up on weapons and supplies, playing with explosives and reading/writing anything zombie related. An up and coming writer, Rich is currently working on two series set in the same undead world: The Run Series, and the Theories Series.. Rich's work can be found on the fiction section of Homepage of the dead.com, or you could check out his blog on Zombie Fiend.com. Rich's novels can be found wherever books are sold.
Grivante writes zombie and strange horror fiction. You might recognize him from the backs of milk cartons from when you were a kid, but that was his twin brother. They still haven’t found Bob.
He is best known for his Zee Brothers: Zombie Exterminator books, a comedic-horror series that both celebrates and pokes fun at everything that makes zombie pop culture cool.
His publishing company Grivante Press focuses on publishing page-turning speculative fiction.
He loves things like George Romero’s “Of The Dead” movies and Robert Kirkman’s “The Walking Dead”.

Christopher Artinian was born and raised in Leeds, West Yorkshire. Wanting to escape life in a big city and concentrate more on working to live than living to work, he moved to the Outer Hebrides in the north-west of Scotland in 2004 and has lived there ever since with his wife and dogs.
He released his debut novel, Safe Haven: Rise of the Rams, in February 2017. This was the first instalment in a post-apocalyptic zombie series. There are currently twenty-two books available in the Safe Haven universe, including the best-selling and award-winning sister series, The End of Everything.
Also available from Artinian, is the fast-paced, best-selling survival horror trilogy, “Relentless”, and the new post-apocalyptic/dystopian series, "The Burning Tree".
In October 2017, he won the prestigious Zombie Book of the Month Award for Rise of the RAMs. In December 2017 he was also bestowed with the "Best New Author" award by the Reanimated Writers group. In addition, Safe Haven won the "Best Series" award in the popular GMZ poll. The End of Everything: Book 1 also won the Zombie Book of the Month title in May 2019.

Hold my beer and watch this....
Wait a minute. That's for when I'm doing something stupid. Amazon suggests I write a little something about me but it's not that interesting. If you are reading this, it probably means you are a Zombie Road reader, maybe even a fan.
If you're reading this to try to determine whether you should take a chance and spend your hard earned cash on the book, read the reviews. They are the most honest opinions you can get, I think. Only a few of those reviewers personally know me, the rest are internet strangers and they have no reason to lie.

Mike Peirce has been a musician and songwriter as well as a soldier in an African War, and private security agent. His "Red Dirt Zombies" trilogy started life as a musical and draws on his experiences in those other areas.
The TV show "The Walking Dead" shows the consequences of losing the war against the Zs. Peirce's books focus on the consequences of winning, addressing veteran’s issues such as PTSD, alienation and the impact of war on romantic relationships.
The “Red Dirt Zombies” series is available on Amazon in paperback or Kindle. "The General's Daughter" has recently been released and while it can stand alone it also falls on the RDZ timeline..
His non fiction memoir of music and mayhem, "African Days and Hollywood Nights" is now available on Amazon well as several short stories.
Peirce has stories in a number of anthologies with proceeds going to veterans organizations, primarily PTSD support. Additionally he has two novellas about a private military company (PMC) operating in Mexico.
Mike hangs around here and there:

Hi all, I am from the land of fish and whisky, midges hills and rain, yip I am from the highlands of Scotland and more precise the Isle of Skye,
I enjoy reading other indie authors work, and write post apocalyptic and dysotopian books.
I enlisted into the Royal Engineers at the Army Apprentice College when it was at Chepstow or more precisly at Beachley which was under the old Severn Bridge in 1991 and was medical discharged due to a back injury when I re badged as Queens own Highlander/ Highlander in 1996
Since then I have done a few lines of work, mostly the fishing industry and survived a sinking, worked in the building industry and later traded screwdrivers and insulated pliers for a set of whites and knives to work as a chef.
I took up writing when during the close season as I got bored and when reading my wife encouraged me to do something more creative.
I am part of the dhp stable along with Chris Harris of the UKD series and Zombie Castle and Suzanne Sussex's Safe Zone series.
I am generally quite a chatty guy on Facebook on pages such as The Isle of Skye Post Apocalyptic Book Club page https://www.facebook.com/groups/326623064339207/ , https://www.facebook.com/wjwatt.author.1 , https://www.facebook.com/HighlandZombie/.
The book club has many other author on it and each one is generally very willing to chat with fans or aspiring writers as well,
