Taming Hollywood's Baddest Boy: An Enemies-to-Lovers Romantic Comedy (The Hollywood Collection Book 1) Kindle Edition
"Taming Hollywood's Baddest Boy put the biggest smile on my face. Between Billie's quirkiness and sassiness and Luca with his huge heart and broody nature, this book hit all the high points. This was such a feel good rom-com. I can't wait for more from this dynamic duo." -- Vanessa (Ness Reads) ★★★★★
"Max and Monroe just keep writing characters (particularly male ones) for me to fall in love with. Luca is the perfect hero to both love and hate at first sight. However, it proves very difficult to keep disliking him after only a few short pages." -- Kristina, Goodreads Reviewer ★★★★★
"Max Monroe consistently deliver funny, romantic, out of this world characters full of heart, sass, stubbornness and grump. Absolute perfection." -- Tina, Goodreads Reviewer ★★★★★
"Ahhh Max Monroe you've done it again. I absolutely freaking loved this book. I am hereby officially claiming Luca Weaver as mine.. not even sorry about it." -- Halle Reads, Goodreads Reviewer ★★★★★
"I never thought another Hero would be in the running with Kline Brooks, but for goodness sakes Max Monroe had to go and have me fall head over heels for Hollywood's Baddest Boy himself; Luca Weaver." -- Ashley Gayhart-Hampton, Goodreads Reviewer ★★★★★
"I read this book in one sitting. Yes, it is that good!" -- Paulette, Goodreads Reviewer ★★★★★
"Wow! This book should be made into a movie. Max Monroe does it again with a truly fantastic story." -- Susan, Goodreads Reviewer ★★★★★

Could not get past the utterly ridiculous concept that this guy would just suddenly allow this annoying woman with no wilderness experience to join him on a 72 mile round trip hike in the Alaskan wilderness. Do these writers or anyone who left a positive review know anything about hiking? This would require 6 full days of hiking carrying a full pack. Even that would require 12 miles per day, almost impossible for all but the most fit and experienced. Do they even have enough daylight hours? She just decides to join and suddenly they have water and food enough for two? She is wearing Uggs for God's sake. Is that supposed to be the funny part, because so far I have missed the humor. It is just too stupid to believe. Stopped reading but really hope there is something in there about the Alaskan mosquitoes going to town on her exposed legs, since she is also wearing " booty shorts" on this hike - in Alaska - in the Spring. Do some research before your next book. I rely on positive reviews and was fooled into buying this book that was a waste of my hard earned money.
Luca Weaver was Hollywood’s Baddest Boy until he walked off a movie set and disappeared from the world 8 years ago. Before he flew the coop, Luca was a household name. He was in the biggest movies. Went to the best parties. Knew all the right people. Until enough was enough and he had to change his life or he wouldn’t have a life anymore.
Billie Harris is working as a Production Assistant in Hollywood, working for a producer who has the hottest new script in town. Billie offered up Luca as the male lead, like she was a personal friend, instead of just a girl who had a crush on an actor when she was younger. Now all she had to do was find him, get him to read the script and agree to come back to Hollywood. Easier said than done, even if she had overheard his Agent mention his name while she was at lunch the day before.
Off the grid Billie goes to find her Hollywood Leading Man. And when she finds him, he is not too happy to see her, especially since he has no idea who she is or what she wants. I love the give and take between Luca and Billie. They’re both stubborn, hard-headed and think their way is the right way. The chemistry is insane, almost as insane as the trek through the forest that Billie follows Luca on so she can try to wear him down.
I can definitely say this is one of my favorite Max Monroe books. Maybe it’s because of the plotline, or the fact that the female lead is a sarcastic, loudmouth, loves her sister, type of chick I hope to be if I ever grow up. They are just perfect together, but first they need to figure that out for themselves before they both blow it. What a great read!
Billie Harris was a motivated assistant for a Hollywood production company. Because of her competitive nature and her job security, she volunteered to search and convince Luca Weaver, the previous child star and once Hollywood bad boy who had disappeared 8 years ago, to return for a potentially highly acclaimed movie. Their close proximity during their days-long hiking/camping trip in the Alaskan wilderness brought them closer together and they’d started falling for each other before they even realized it...
Becoming famous at the young age, Luca lost his childhood, his family, and himself due to greed, fame, and Hollywood destructive lifestyle. He decided to drop everything and live a recluse life in an isolated cabin with his adorable Labrador 🐕 and an only friend who lived miles away. The sudden appearance of a sassy and stubborn Hollywood assistant was the last thing he wanted and expected! Would Billie be able to convince him to return and take the role of a lifetime?
I was not really a big fan of Billie 😂, her sass got a bit annoying in the beginning, and I think she did not deserve Luca! He’s talented, sweet, caring, and loyal, you just need to get over his grumpy ass (understandably so, given the situation Billie forced herself upon him) to find a gooey marshmallow inside 🤣😍! Did I say he was swoon-worthy? 🤣 I love Bailey the Lab, he played an important role in Billie and Luca’s romance 😍! And I also like that both Luca and Billie had to work hard to overcome their fear and vulnerabilities to be together, but Luca’s persistence definitely scored extra brownie points for me 🥰!
4-⭐️ read for me!

I can’t help but fall in love with the characters and am always sad to leave them when the book ends and brooding Hollywood bad boy Luca and cowboy boot wearing Billie bringing all the sass were no different. I’d even throw it out there and say they’re probably my favourite couple so far!!
I can’t wait to see where Max Monroe’s next book takes us! Their wit and sarcasm never fail to have me hanging on to my sides crying with laughter and in this crazy world there’s nowhere else I’d rather escape to!
I highly recommend this read!!
If you want an escape from reality bit with pretty relatable characters and no other woman/man drama I highly recommend this book.
