Full disclosure, I am a long time friend of and game with the author. That said, this book and the series are good reads. The characters are easy to identify with. You don't have to know much or anything about the religion/mythology of either side. Just kick back and enjoy the ride.

So this story is so freaking awesome!!! I am totally in need of book 3! The characters are well written and so real. The action is fantastic and the story is just way to hard to put down. Be prepared to spend a day or so reading this book. It's totally worth the time and money!!!!
