Having said all that, I've no doubt I'll buy the next one just to see what's going on with the storylines I DO care about, but Finn/Chloe, Jordan/Mason, Riley/Nikki are characters I just found lacking.
I found Gigi exhausting. Her commitment issues became a bore and I struggled to stay interested in their relationship.
I think the biggest problem I had with this book is that with this series… is that even though you have the two main characters, it’s truly never, just their book. While I love seeing past characters they are given too much page time & the main two characters get shorted. It would be ok if the book was longer but they are not. Cooper has girls blowing up his phone all day long. He’s on a dating site that has women wanting to hook up. None of that is ever addressed. We never see him tell any of them he’s no longer interested. Gigi has past stalkers that she has to go to court about. It was mentioned but we never hear how things turn out. See what I mean when I say they are shorted? I don’t want to skim the surface of ten different characters over ten different books that come out once or twice a year. That is just me personally. Apparently a lot of people like it just fine. The author is talented.
I think I speak for a lot of readers when I say that Mac should have got a vasectomy while Maddie was still pregnant with the twins. Good gravy I hope he stays off of her until then.
I guess there will be a book about Jace. Not sure if I’ll read it. Not really interested in reading about a guy who won’t take care of his kids.
Right away Cooper reads GiGi and he knows what she needs. This scares the crap out of her and she tries to run away. But Cooper is too sweet and knows what he is doing and who to get information from to help him win his lady.
Will GiGi give in and let Cooper love her? Will the end of taping be the end of GiGi and Cooper? And what happens to the little bundle of "joy" that Lizzie and Jared have fall into their lap?
All this and so much more....
Ms. Force packs an emotional punch in this story as we catch up with Lizzie and Jared as they are left with an abandoned baby. We also catch up with the new light housekeepers and get to see a bit more of Jordan and Nikki. Gansett Island is growing and I don't know how Ms. Force keeps up with all pregnancies, drama, and day-to-day life with so many wonderful characters. She isn't afraid to change things up a bit to keep it from getting stale. I can't wait to see what is next in this series and I hope to keep revisiting Gansett Island for a long time to come.

And this story had such a warmth to it, I couldn't help but smile and genuinely feel better by reading it. Plus, its made me want to go back and read all of them again, and I can't wait for book 25. I also loved the party of seven short story at the end. 😊
Would happily recommend.
Cooper however, is awesome in this book...well apart from the whole cliff thing... and the gravel rash... and the broken ribs! But her really is amazing with Gigi, he knows he needs to go slow, to handle her carefully but he is also brave enough to put his heart on the line too...is that brave or crazy?
As always it is great to catch up with the rest of the Gansett Island family, a family that welcome you with open arms each and every visit. A family that is ever expanding with lots of new residents introduced in this book, lots of love, laughter, heartbreak and healing.....when is the next ferry to Gansett?
