The New Testament in Its World The Kingdom New Testament: A Contemporary Translation Paul: A Biography What Christians Ought to Believe Evangelical Theology: A Biblical and Systematic Introduction
Author(s) N.T. Wright, Michael F. Bird N.T. Wright N.T. Wright Michael F. Bird Michael F. Bird
About The New Testament in Its World is your passageway from the twenty-first century to the era of Jesus and the first Christians. A highly-readable, one-volume introduction placing the entire New Testament and early Christianity in its original context. N. T. Wright invigorates the New Testament with a new English translation that allows contemporary readers to encounter these historic works afresh. This approachable, engaging translation features modern prose that stays true to the ancient text. N. T. Wright offers a radical look at the apostle Paul, illuminating the humanity and remarkable achievements of this intellectual who invented Christian theology—transforming a faith and changing the world. In What Christians Ought to Believe Michael Bird opens our eyes to the possibilities of the Apostle’s Creed as a way to explore and understand the basic teachings of the Christian faith. Using the gospel as a theological leitmotif―an approach to Christian doctrine that begins with the gospel and sees each loci through the lens of the gospel―this text presents an authentically evangelical theology.
