Great film, Terrible OVERRATED sequences of GARLAND, ASTAIRE, etc...

Liked the intro, sequences nostalgia. Downside: Terrible Judy Garland annoying voice annoying face. Everything about her is scum. Too many Garland, Rooney sequences. What happened to the black face Babes on Broadway 1941 sequence?
What happened to the uncommon early 1930s to mid 1930s MGM short films/films? Why are there so many mid 40s to late 50s films? Too many young actors/actresses' sequences

Brings back memories and cannot get enough of the stars!

My Dad introduced me to this series when I was a little girl and now that I am my early forties, it is still a movie that I LOVE watching! Seriously, this and the part one movie made me want to be a tap & jazz dancer, which I was successfully for over 20 years. Plus, no one can perform like these old-Hollywood stars can....and probably no one will ever come close again!

Great entertainment, but NOT HD on demand, no matter what Amazon says.

Great compilation fo MGM musical moments from fabulous to absurd, as with the first installment. BUT... If you pay for the “HD rental” you will not get the film in HD on your home screen. Definitely lo-def.

Not as good as part I

Not as good as part I. I'm not a fan of the narrators doing song and dance numbers. Simple introduction and narrations in the first installments were much better.
Also, this volume adds more acting and anecdotes. I watch this for the dancing, which this one has less of.

Not as good as the first

It's clearly not as good as Entertainment I, but with Gene Kelly and Fred Astaire hosting it (albeit in front of cheap '70s TV variety show sets), I had to give it 4 stars. Just watching the two of them dance together was worth the 4. The rest of it: eh.
