I loved the book it was for my grandson. However it was packaged in paper not plastic !!! The outside of the package was damp . It had started to rain. Luckily it wasn't outside on my steps in the elements and damaged by the rain.

From the off I could tell this was not nearly as funny as Wonky Donkey. Somewhat predictable, but I guess knowing how the earlier book progressed, this wasn't too surprising. I read it for the first time with one of my grandsons on my knee and despite my best efforts of "getting into character", his reaction was rather subdued.
I think trying to write a follow up to a very original and humorous book was always going to be a struggle and, unfortunately in my opinion, it hasn't quite worked.
