Why is it we still have the same ignorant AS*holes in Hollystupid deciding what we watch. Take the original Dukes of Hazzard. The only reason it made it onto TV was the head idiot in charge was on vacation and they snuck it on and by the time he returned it was a hit show which just proves that they have no idea what they are doing. This show the finder was a unique and interesting. Do we really need 36 CSI shows and their all fantasy. If I want to watch fantasy I want to see something with decent acting with a thought provoking script that is fun like the finder or forever. This is exactly why hollywood is going to go down the tube killed off by the future with netflix and hulu doing original programming and in my opinion it can not happen soon enough for me. maybe then we can start getting away from all the generic trash.

This show is Awesome! One of the best series out there. Why did they cancel this series? They could have replaced Michael Clarke Duncan. ( I liked this actor. I wish he was still alive.) They should consider remaking this series.

Very entertaining!

Loved this TV series. Just unhappy that they didn't continue the show after the death of Michael Clarke Duncan. The thought process that went into finding what was being sought was fascinating!

I wish this would have kept going. The cast is great and had a long way to go to be even greater. Writing was great. Directing too. Locations too.

The Finder: Season 1 (Eye of the Storm)

[[ASIN:B007IQXLCI Eye of the Storm]]
This is a very likeable series or was, my heartfelt sympathies to fans of the late Michael Clarke Duncan. The Finder was introduced by the "Bones" TV series produced by Emily Deschnel and Boneranz and is very interesting in that the lead actor can find anything from a missing piece of jewlery to missing conversations. The "Eye of the Storm" episode is entertaining and full of dry wit which is typical of the series although short lived possibly due to the sudden death of Mr Duncan but it is well worth a look see because it is in my opinion well written and acted. I purchased the product because of the short that was placed in an episode of Bones the TV series where our Finder locates a long lost item for actress' Emily Deschnel's character. I wanted a closer look and became a regular viewer. Check out the first episode "An Orphan Walks Into a Bar" and you may just want to watch more episodes even though this is a very short series (only 13 episodes) on Amazon Instant Video. If a DVD were available I would buy it.

Way Too Good to Cancel!!!

I can't believe Fox canceled The Finder! It's SO entertaining and quirky - every episode kept me interested in a big way. Fox screwed up BIG time - AGAIN! The only other Fox show I watch regularly is Bones. Now I'm down to watching Bones on Fox. No other reason to watch Fox for my family.

The LEAST that should be done is put The Finder out on DVD, not just on a download. I hate watching stuff on computers, I have a large collection of movies and TV series on DVD's and that's the way we like it - and I'm sure I'm not the only one.

Update Jan 2015: I just saw that they put Geoff Stults' next series Enlisted (which was also canceled) on DVD!! I watched it because of Geoff, but the Finder was a FAR better show. Why not let the fans get DVD's of Finder. It was bad enough the way they ended it, but at LEAST let us remember it via DVD!!! Fox is terrible at that.
