"The Mom's" makes for a very captivating series!! You will like it....

I watched the first 2 seasons of the Fosters on Netflix so when I reached the end of Season 2, I switched over to Amazon for Season 3. I really love this series- as an extended Kin raising Kin family parent myself, it is fascinating. Throw in that the dynamics of a cop mom and a vice principle other mom (the parents are Lesbians), referred to as "The Mom's" makes for a very captivating series. I was a little confused by Jesus's disappearance, it is a little strange- I will have to go back and watch the way it comes down in the last episode of season 2 and the first of 3.
For some reason Amazon isn't offering a buy the whole season deal on this so I have been buying as I go, kind of a pain but I savor each episode that much more as I approach running out of them.

The Fosters is so much more!!

I love the Fosters. My only disappointment was the writers taking her from a great Dad, & where she could've had a relationship with Brandon. Now, it would seem creepy or weird, even if they're not related, for a relationship to continue, even if they tried not to. I know writers do this keeping you coming back for more. Also, what I love about this show is not just about 2 Mom's & a Dad with a bunch of kids. But, they teach them self sacrifice, doing for others first, love, and this show most definitely hits so many topics that are so important in today's society; One of which is a broken Foster care society/group homes/over-worked social workers, & juvenile delinquency (due to just wanting out of being almost killed, etc...) Thank you! More kids will be adopted & fostered from this show in the right way!! :)

Awesome TV show!!!

I love this show and am so glad they decided to bring it back for Season 4. I recently cancelled cable so have started several series on Netflix from the beginning. I couldn't wait for Season 3 to come out on Netflix though. I had to buy it! I look back and wish I had been more understanding with my teens and let them learn from their mistakes instead of me grounding them constantly.

It follows a brother and sister who are trying to be adopted by a lesbian couple. They have a biological son and another set of siblings they adopted previously. Of course bringing in two more has drama. I can't wait til it comes back in January.

good and bad behavior

Bringing a diverse view. It really does spell out the lesson in class about perspective, what color is this book, it's red no it's black no it's both. They bring out all sides of the foster system, police side of fostering, having straight parents, gay parents, being gay and the difference between understanding, support, and ignoring. Charter school politics and addressing hard decisions, through sickness, health, good and bad behavior, pain, joy, and the dysfunction and functionality in the world the fosters bring it all. And even when there is tough things in life, tough love, or situations, they bring it with a big hug.

Absolutely love the Fosters!!! Never has a t.v. show dealt with real life issues in such a mature, responsible way! You see all the characters, with their strengths and flaws, navigate life with their family and friends dealing with such controversial issues with grace and courage. Every situation they face is found to be a chance to grow and learn and always overcome with love. Thank you for making a t.v. show that handles real life controversial issues with responsible and graceful portrayal!!! Beautiful creativity and acting!

The Fosters demonstrates LOVE
Verified purchase
This show has pulled out so many things from my heart. It has encouraged me to stand up for what I believe in. It has brought me back to life. I never thought a TV show could change a life but I am so grateful for this story line. I think everyone should watch this show. It teaches you about unconditional love and that life is tough but if you pull together with the ones you love anything is possible. The main message that is has given me is that no matter the color of your skin, where you have come from (lol kind of like the theme song), and just because you are not blood does not mean you can't have a family. Family is about being with the ones that you love.

This show speaks of Love. Accepting someone into your home because you want to love them as much as they need to be loved, this is life. The Fosters has always been amazing at conveying purpose and belonging even to those who feel they are lost forever.

Great show, great story

Great show, great story, great family. I love seeing shows that bring diversity and tolerance to the forefront without being in your face about it.

The Fosters are just a normal family, with normal problems. That's how the world should be exposed to it!
