5.0 out of 5 stars Twisty twisty twisty!
By Mark Jenkins on August 1, 2021
No spoilers!

Mia washes ashore without any memories of who she is or how she came to rest on that beach. In the hospital, a man visits claiming to be her boyfriend. He takes her home and then....well, that’s when the real party starts.

What’s interesting about this story is, as the reader, you are discovering who Mia is and what happened to her at the same time she is. So you’re not sure what - or who - to believe. What memories are real and which ones should she want to still forget?

Is Mia who she thinks she is? Or who others say she is? More importantly, who does she want to be? When she ended up in the sea, was it because she was put there by someone trying to do her harm or did she choose that route as a dangerous, last minute escape? Hmmmm.....

By the end of the book, you’ll be amazed you never saw the twist coming. Say what???!!!!

The book is only 220 pages long and a very quick read. This was chosen for our book club and we loved it. (We also had a second book because this one was so short and quick lol) In the book, Mia and a guy named Jack went on a picnic and he had a BLT so I made BLT sliders for our club.

Have fun with this one - but just know, the girl from the sea may or may not be who she or you or the doctors or her boyfriend think she is.
