EXCELLENT SHOW IN JEREMY's BACKYARD!
Verified purchase
Great show! Not just about car specs. Very entertaining, These three hosts just have the perfect chemistry that brings together their very different personalities in a relaxing comedic yet informative-ish presentation with the worlds fastest, most exotic vehicles, as well as beautiful landscapes from breathtaking views of the globe. You'll see places you may never have even heard of, or at least have never been to, that will make you want to see where they head to next, and especially how they get there or don't. Whatever their adventure, if you like beautiful cars, beautiful landscapes, comedic bantering, arguing adventurous racing mishaps, and these three "tools", as they call each other,"The Neandrethal/Gorilla, The Short F1 Driver/Pretty Boy, and Mr. Slow/Dingleberry Handpump, you'll like The Grand Tour! As a long time Top Gear fan, the only thing I don't like is that they didn't get to keep the original show name which will be known in history as the best car show in "the-pause-Jeremy's backyard!"

They're back! A much improved format over the last season, really enjoy the freedom they have to kick things up a notch over top gear, and the new celebrity track is awesome. Really look forward to watching the rest of the season... I have no doubts they will continue to dial in what works, kudos to Amazon and Bezos for picking up the best lot of automotive journalists on the planet!

Jeremy, still waiting on a phone call. Signed, The Loud American.

Well I have to admit, this seasons changes are all for the good. Other than I still think they need more loud Americans on the show (I am still waiting for the phone call from Jeremy) I can't imagine this show being much better. This show alone, this season is worth the cost of my prime membership. Thank you Amazon and thank you Guys. Don't get me wrong, last season was ok, this season is remarkable. By the way, I have never broken a leg crashing after a finish line...

Better than ever!

The boys are a bit older but still fantastic! I couldn't understand the firing of Jeremy by BBC. A slap on the wrist would have done the job. Hammond and May were loyal to him and now have a truly great Five Star show! The interplay is just as much fun as ever and the car tests are spot on! I could binge-watch the entire season in one evening!

PERFECTED after season one's shortcomings!
Verified purchase
Amazing!

My only gripes with season 1 were two things:
-Celebrities dying pointlessly
-Annoying redneck stig

This season remedied that by replacing the celebrity deaths with an AWESOME counter. Celebrities going head to head in a jaguar f-type around the track! The comedy, epicness, and insane stunts are all still here and i'm sure there will be plenty more near-death experiences to come. Didn't see the redneck stig but he could still be there; we'll see as the season progresses. This honestly is the best the trio have ever been!

Way to go boys!

The boys are back! They made all the changes from the feedback of season 1 and the banter is back and outstanding. Richard and May participate more at the table and it's just the boys doing what they do best! I would love to see Mark Weber contribute but I like the face off bit. Better track this time around they are not trying so hard this time. Can't wait to see what they do in the next 11 weeks!

This is the best car show......pause....in the world!
Verified purchase
I am a long time fan of these guys... I know a bit about the logistical nightmare and scheduling headaches the entire crew goes thru to put a show like this together.... With that said, at the end of the day you can see the results for yourself that these people love what they do and we love them for it.
Season 2 (so far it seems) has done well to iron out the kinks from season 1.
Jeremy, Richard, James and the crew, keep up the great work!

The boys are back!

I like this one very much and think some of the changes are a definite improvement. Getting rid of the fat American test driver is a monumental improvement and the celebrity dying bit as well. They're back in beautiful locations and arguing the way they should. I would have like to have heard more details on the cars in the 1st episode, such as price, 0-60 and top speed but for some reason those were left out. It still is my favorite car show ever.
