5.0 out of 5 starsWOW
Fantastic story about corrupt gold-mining officials, and a self-semi-retired cop, who has a questionable reputation back in Stockholm. The cop is played by the great Rolf Lassgard, who was the original Wallader, before the definitive portrayal by Krister Henriksson. The setting is a small town in the far North of Sweden. Wonderful atmosphere, beautiful wooded countryside, lots of rain and shadows. Have only seen one episode and now have to wait too long for the next! If you like Scandinavian crime series, you will like this. In Swedish, English subtitles.

5.0 out of 5 starsPrepare to watch from beginning to end. You won't want to take a break.
Unbelievable steady intrigue and suspense while all characters are believable. Everyone is trying to do what they think is best even when they go off the rails. It's possible to feel empathy for this town while they lose their way.
Again, please refrain from panning a good show because Mhz delays episodes. They suck but the show doesn't.
MHZ WORK AROUND: With a little googling you can avoid the disappointment caused by Mhz's cynical use of delayed episodes to protect their subscription income. Step one, find out the total number of episodes in the show. Step two, find out the date mhz will post the last episode. Step three, put a reminder on your calendar when the show will be complete. Step four, before beginning the series, verify all episodes are available. It's tedious and annoying that we have to do this, but mhz does have a lot of good shows that make it worth it.

5.0 out of 5 starsSuperb Scandinavian Crime Series
Scandinavian Crime series at its best. Rolf Lassgård is fabulous as retired policeman Erik Bäckström. Bäckström is a complicated man on a mission to uncover betrayal, corruption and deceit in the beautiful Swedish countryside. Loved, loved, loved all six episodes of this series. Hope there's a series 2! Please Note: There are 6 episodes, not 4 as stated in a couple of the reviews, perhaps since the series episodes came out a week at a time. There is an ending (but leaves room for possibly series 2).

1.0 out of 5 starsBEWARE, IT HAS NO ENDING!
if you like a series that ends right in the middle of everything, this is for you, if not, don't start watching, it seems this is beginning to be the norm, with lots of series, starts, but, then you are stuck, with no ending, terrible for audiences, everywhere, you can find the series called False Trail, but it is not available for viewing, seems the whole thing is messed up, save yourself the time, it doesn't have an ending! TERRIBLE, AMAZON,

2.0 out of 5 starsEnds with Episode 4 right at a crux moment - where are final two episodes??
Excellent production but nothing is more annoying than ending a mystery/thriller just at the climax of the story! 1 of 6 but we only get 4?
