As superstitious beliefs and villainish folk rush to persecute the saints you'll find that you simply can't set this beautiful book aside. These are dark but so beautifully written. I loved adding more to the Grishaverse universe and gaining a better understanding of some of my favorite character's beliefs. This is filled with heroes and monster.
This is a must-read for any Grishaverse fan! The inside artwork is spectacular! This is a quick read that you won't be forgetting. I imagine that it'll be invaluable as you navigate the Grishaverse and all of it's gloriousness.

A edição é simplesmente maravilhosa, as ilustrações são incríveis e este é de longe o livro mais bonito da minha estante! Definitivamente um volume para colecionadores e apaixonados pelo universo Grisha (como eu!).

Aside from that, this was a quick and easy read providing some background into the wider Grishaverse and it was fun to read and recognise some of the Saints and their stories. There was nothing particularly special about any of the stories - most of them were only 3 or 4 pages so there wasn't much depth - but I am glad I read this as a fan of the world they come from.

The art work is stunning don't get me wrong, but the stories meh! It's like a camp fire story time. The stories are short and don't really have much depth, if I compare to the language of thorns which was a collection of grishaverse short stories, language of thorns would win.
